nevermind i figured it out, it was under permission wizard/permission group/regular employee and then remove pay period schedule view and view own.

Block Employee from Printing Payroll?

Hi,

I would like to block my employees from printing there own pay stubs how can i do that? I have my accountant that will send the pay stubs to them. I know they can't print them out when the pay period is open. I would like to do that for all the pay periods.

ok so how would I fix this so it will show the correct info on the pay stub??

nvm I think I figured it out, I changed the salary to monthly with the correct full month amount and did the recalculation and it reset the pay stub to the $500

doing the recalculate pay stub didnt make any changes, it is still keeping the rate the same even when the hours change.

we will be in the process of upgrading to the newest version of timetrex, but in the mean time thank you for the replies on the "Province/State Income Tax Formula" it did the trick for filling in the info needed in the w2s

ohhhhh gotcha on the screen shot you was referring to, I deleted it and went to the employees time sheet and added hours to it and it did this Earnings Rate Hrs/Units Amount YTD Amount Regular Time 0.00 58.50 541.67 1,041.67 Total Gross 58.50 541.67 1,041.67 so it added hours to the time but the amo...

the pay stub I just posted is the current pay period without any modifications, I would do one from the previous pay period but I have to manually edit his pay stub on all the information so this one is the only unedited version . here is a report for the time sheet, it only has the first week on it...

this is one of our employees that we have on salary which is supposed to be $500 a pay period but it keeps generating this amount, this pay period is not over yet but no matter what hours it populates this is what happens.

we have been trying to figure out why timetrex does not fill out all the boxes needed on the w2/w3 when displaying the forms so we can print them out to send out to our employees it seems to miss all of boxes 15 16 17 and 18 for the state employers id number, state wages, state taxes, and local wage...

thank you for the help, I figured out what it was on the errors, the drive letter on the first part was pointing to the wrong dir as well as the password in the bat file was wrong, I got them both fix and now it is working correctly

how would I be able to do a manual run to check for errors?? I know on the backup files we have had are the original, we had done an upgrade from an older version to the 2nd newest version that is out, and as far as I know the password has not changed.

every time we manually run the backup_database.bat it is only creating 0kb files. we have tried everything we could think of even file permissions, is there something we are missing or a file that could have become corrupted that we missed??
