Purging of Data
How about a purge feature? For some reasons, my Stations file contains 191000 plus records - deleting 25 at a time will take forever. Also, since I only have to keep 3 years worth of data for the IRS and DOL, what about a complete purge feature based on payroll dates? If I delete the payroll records...

Re: Requirement Check has failed?
For all your Windows folks out there, my previous post may be the solution if you are having the same issues.
You must load each upgrade as the same user you loaded it as previously as that seems to have cured my issue.

Re: Requirement Check has failed?
I read another post on here about users being incorrect. That was based on a Linux system. Made me think and I tried this (will not know the result till tomorrow morning): I initially loaded Time Trex under my own logon (I am an Administrator) but on the last installs I loaded as the Adminsitrator l...

Requirement Check has failed?
After loading 7.3.1, it now states I failed requirements - I tried to attach the screen shot, but you do not allow BMP to be uploaded. This is what happened when I loaded 7.2.5 and 7.3.0 which led to the installer_enabled issue, which was "fixed" in 7.3.1. Running under Windows. I ran the ...

Re: Archive of Past Data
Any thoughts on this? I really don't want to delete data and my backups are taking a really, really long time.

Re: Loaded 7.2.5 and 7.3.0
Thank you. I will load 7.3.1 as soon as I can, since I had to reset the installer_enabled flag again this morning.

Re: Loaded 7.2.5 and 7.3.0
UPDATE:
It did it again. Came in this morning and my timetrex.ini.php file reverted to installer_enabled = TRUE.
Any ideas on why or how this is happening?
Thank you.

Re: Loaded 7.2.5 and 7.3.0
UPDATE: My systems all reboot overnight. I came in this morning and all 3 instances of Time Trex stated they were in installer mode and to edit the timetrex.ini.php file again. This time, all I had to do was make a copy and very carefully change TRUE to FALSE for the installer parameter. But, why? I...

Loaded 7.2.5 and 7.3.0
I do not know if I am the only one with this issue -- I loaded 7.2.5 on Friday night - on tjhis morning, a red warning came up that my system did not pass pre-requisites. I checked for an update, and loaded 7.3.0 this morning. When done, red warnings that my system was in install mode. I changed the...

Archive of Past Data
I would really love to see the ability to archive past years data to a separate "folder" or DB.
My current DB is over 1.2GB in size - containing 3 years of data. I would like to cut that size down, but need to save the data, just in case.
Thank you for your consideration.

Re: Tracking of changes?
Thank you, but I still think that a color change or a symbol next to it would be a good idea. That way you can automatically see if a change was made.

Tracking of changes?
Feature Request Similar to when a note is added an an asterisk appears, can a symbol be added when any manual changes are made to anyone's time? I hate to say this - but our Company just fired our Payroll Manager and an employee for being in cahoots. The Payroll Manager was changing the times of the...

How can you reduce the size of the database?
I have searched for this topic and only found one reference, but that was for a 12 MB file. My database backups are over 520 MB in size and grow about 1 MB in size, per day. We utilize Time Trex only for being compliant with State labor laws (capturing time data for remote workers), not for payroll ...

Restore from only postgresql Data directory?
Ok.. my server took itself out, bad sectors, etc. Cannot get anything on Time Trex to work. My TT was on a DB outside the TT directory, using PostgreSQL 8.4. All I could save was the data directory from the postgresql folder. I tweaked the backup_database.bat file and was able to create a backup_tim...
