Hello,
I need a report that shows missing punches by employee by date but I can't find one or seem to be able to create one. Can anyone advise on this?

Hi Shuan,
We're using the business version. Any chance I can get support via the forum as opposed to the phone? I prefer text to speech

We're receivng a message about needing to upgrade from an old version 5.0.3 but when I try to upgrade to 5.3.3 it sticks at 92% on the DB. I've had this problem before and the solution was to upgrade to a lesser and then final version. Does anyone know where I can get an in between version?

Using Schedules for Rostering
I'm using version 5.0.5 and want to know if I can use Timetrex for rostering hotel staff. Essentially we have shifts at various periods throughout the day. Employees may work the morning shift one day and the afternoon shift the next. Sometimes with a day off in between. Another employee may work th...

Automatic Punching
I'm getting a wierd occurance in my installation. For some users, not all, and those particularly in a single Policy Group, there are punches automatically happening at 1000 and 1800. I've looked everywhere but I can't see why this is happening. I'm also getting missing punches on days where there a...

I select the relevant criteria (i.e. Active Employees etc) and use the export button at the bottom of the page.

Export contains no data
Hi,
I'm trying to export the Employee detail report but when I do so, the file only contains the comma formatting but no actual data. Can anyone advise me?
When I view the report the data is visible but on export there is only the report headings but no data.
Thanks

Supported Readers
We currently use the USB iButton readers but want to switch to something that doesn't require a PC. I've seen these: http://www.sentri.co.za/TT545iButton.html http://www.umd.com.au/itd/products/umd_m631.html I don't know if they are supported or what other options are available. We are basically spa...

Re: Importing Users to New Installation
The original version is 2.0.3.
I've been reading that the best way to upgrade is to go step by step through several versions. Is this true? If so, where can I get versions in between 2.0.3 and 3.6.1?
Thanks

Importing Users to New Installation
Hello All,
We currently have an old installation (2.x.x) running with mysql. I've done a clean install on a new server of 3.6.1 using postgres and I'd like to know if there is a way to bring the users table across rather that re-entering 70 odd users. Is this possible?

Re: Pay Period Schedules not generating automatically
The different PHP command is not intentional but is a symbolic link to the /var/lib/php5 command. This however doesn't seem to be the issue as cron is not reporting an error running the php but rather an error running a php command that doesn't exist. The timetrex installation is in /var/www but som...

Re: Pay Period Schedules not generating automatically
Cron is set to run:
su www-data -c "/usr/bin/php /var/www/SandridgeTT/classes/modules/core/../../../maint/cron.php" > /dev/null 2>&1
my PHP_CLI is pointing to /var/lib/php5

This line: php /home/www/SandridgeTT/classes/modules/core/../../..//maint/AddPayPeriod.php is incorrect. Re: Pay Period Schedules not generating automatically
You will need to follow the instructions located here: http://forums.timetrex.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=89 To enable debugging mode so TimeTrex generate logs of what is going on. Set the verbosity to 10 instead of 11 though. Once this is done if you wait 24hrs and attach the logs we should be abl...

Re: Excessive Emails on TimeTrex Box
Thanks.
You were right it was the cron jobs sending the emails. I fixed that and the mail is no longer 'spamming'.
I also did a work around by editing /classes/modules/core/Debug.class.php to send mail to the localhost to see the output of the maint jobs.
Thanks again.
