Absence Policy in Schedule Summary Report
We're trying to pull Schedule Summary Reports with Absence Policy details. Example, we've got a single day where there are a mix of unpaid & paid absences and we'd like to pull a report differentiating between them. We're trying to pull 1 day, Full Name, Date, Absence Policy, Start, End Times......

Auto Upgrades & system-wide messages
2 Questions (along with some explanation): * Is there a way to disable Auto Upgrades? I'd rather see a message to do the upgrade manually. * Is there a way to limit who sees error/new update messages (like failed auto upgrade errors or "new version" messages)? The first AutoUpgrade that at...

Schedule Reporting
I understand the current limitations of the Schedule Reporting where future recurring schedules are concerned. We are still leaning on the old interface to pull out future schedules & we know this functionality will soon be unavailable with new releases, but we MUST have something before it's co...

Re: Functionality between HTML and Flex versions
Hind sight is 20/20 for this one, the Flash interface was already being developed when iPhones were just being released and HTML5 was a pipe dream, obviously the landscape has changed significantly since then and the Flash interface is being phased out in favor of a pure HTML5 interface (currently ...

Functionality between HTML and Flex versions
Do you have a list of the functionality differences between the HTML and Flash-based Flex interfaces (mainly concerned about the missing functionality)? Since our upgrade, I've come across the following (VERY painful discoveries): Schedule Summary Report does not include future recurring schedule da...

Regular Employee Permissions - Edit City
We are located in a metropolitan area with employees from more than 10 cities. I need for my employees to be able to edit their own City field. I saw in a previous forum post where the fix is described as adding the "Employees - Edit Advanced", and that this permission would allow them to ...

Re: Accessing the Legacy Interface to Login?
I see the warnings, but they simply state it "will be discontinued", not "will corrupt your data". Those are two VERY different statements & would have been heeded as such. That's all I'm getting at. I don't mean to "poke the bear", I'm just trying to figure out how...

Re: Accessing the Legacy Interface to Login?
Wow... I would have expected the upgrade process to remove (or at least move) past files that would break the system... On the other hand, the Login_legacy.php file & index_legacy.php files are NEW files that came along with the install. The option to change the default_interface is there & ...

Re: Accessing the Legacy Interface to Login?
Nevermind... Poking around in the code, I was able to find a reference to the following:
I set that value in my timetrex.ini.php to "html" and now we're defaulting to the old login page.
Thanks!
Code: Select all
$config_vars['other']['default_interface'])) == 'html'
Thanks!

Re: Accessing the Legacy Interface to Login?
I forgot to mention...
In timetrex.ini.php we have the following line commented out (per past install's requirements to use the legacy interface):
Should we uncomment this and set it to something different to default to the legacy interface?

Accessing the Legacy Interface to Login?
Once you log in, we need to link directly into the legacy interface to pull some reports that are missing in the Flex interface. We also have a few computers that do not have Flash installed (and cannot for right now...) If we are not yet logged into TimeTrex, and link directly to the "../inter...

Re: Future Dated Schedule Summary Reports
technically there isn't "anything" to report on in the future. While I understand how this feature works, the reporting in the legacy interface works as expected by dynamically calculating where the scheduled days should be. (Shoot, the schedule interface does the dynamic reporting on the...

Re: Future Dated Schedule Summary Reports
WOW! That's terrible!!! This is one of the few reports we lean on DAILY to manage our operations... This is one of those CRITICAL reports to be able to pull in a live scheduling system. I assumed I was doing something wrong, not that there was a gaping hole in the development cycle for critical repo...

Future Dated Schedule Summary Reports
One thing we're missing now that we're upgraded is the ability to pull a future dated Schedule Summary Report... In the old version, we could pull a Schedule Summary report for any date range (including future dates). However, when I select Reports >> TimeSheet Reports >> Schedule Summary with "...

Payroll Export options
We've been running in the Legacy interface on version 5.0.8. (I know... You suggest upgrading, but that's why I'm here now...) I'm testing the upgrade & working out all the standard reports we require before rolling it out live. In our current Payroll Export, we filter down by branch and we also...

Re: Ability to see all pending requests
Ah!!! We've been using the HTML interface, so I hadn't even looked at the Flash-based Flex interface. I think we can handle moving our admin employees to the Flex interface for this flexibility. Side note/question: Are you planning to continue maintaining the HTML interface in tandem with the Flash ...

Ability to see all pending requests
Our payroll administrators are responsible to make sure all pending requests have been addressed. They are actually the final level in the Hierarchies for requests as well (we've got at most 2 levels of leads/supervisors, then payroll admins in the hierarchies). However, unless the requests have alr...

Payroll Export - Filter Unpaid Absences
I don't know if this falls into anyone else's needs, but for our situation it would be very useful to be able to filter out Unpaid Absence Types from Payroll Exports Type: Generic. For the file we need to export from the Payroll Export report, we only every want to see paid hours in this file. I've ...
