Re: Contractor pay based on number of jobs done
To give a bit more insight, this is for a medical transcription position that will be paid a flat rate based on the number of reports completed within a pay period. Is there a way to assign a dollar value to each type of report and tally them at the end of the pay period to be reflected on the pay s...

Contractor pay based on number of jobs done
Is it possible to set the pay of a 1099 contractor to be processed alongside regular payroll when their work is paid based on the number of jobs they complete? The hours are not logged, so it would be a flat fee paid for each job. I searched around but couldn't find anything to point me in the right...

Re: Configure Document Size
Just tested. Works perfectly. Dimensions fit the 8.5 x 11 inch standard. Is this something that will be patched in the next update?

Re: Configure Document Size
The demo is giving just a slightly larger document size for the same report. I am still a couple versions behind on my production server, so I will update tonight and see if it reduces down at all. I ran a default tax summary and a customized one which reflects the same fields given on my report. Th...

Re: Configure Document Size
When the document is generated in portrait orientation, the columns seem to be slightly reduced (see attachments). Can we get the columns to reduce in the same manner when generated in landscape? There is ample space for the data being reported on. It doesn't seem like it would be a problem to fit e...

Re: Configure Document Size
I save PDF copies of reports and append them to the tax deposit receipt. The tax deposit receipt is the standard 8.5 x 11 inch size, so the multipage document ends up having different print margins per page. The document cannot be printed properly without selecting the option to fit to printer margi...

Re: Configure Document Size
I just played around with the default Form 941 template and it seems to use the same enlarged dimensions. Is there a way to scale the report down? Reduce the font? Anything?

Re: Configure Document Size
Is there a default report which gives numbers for monthly tax deposits that I could use instead? Or a way to resize the columns? There is a lot of wasted space on most of the columns.

Re: Configure Document Size
Hi Shaun,
PDF is attached. It seems like this is only affecting the custom reports. The paystub PDFs are created as the 8.5 by 11 inch format.

Configure Document Size
My reports are being printed or saved to pdf as 9.1 x 11.6 inch. I would like the reports to be scaled to the 8.5 x 11 inch standard to match my other documents. Is there an easy way to change this configuration?

Re: Disable automatic upgrade
Thanks for the reply Shaun. Makes me feel a little more comfortable about letting the auto upgrade do its thing. Couple questions:
1) What directory does the database dump to? (LAMP server)
2) Is there any way to setup an email notification to alert when the system has been upgraded?

Re: Disable automatic upgrade
Understood, but I like to make an emergency backup prior to upgrading just in case. Also, wouldn't the auto upgrade overwrite any code customizations without prior notice? There is potential for major headaches if so.

Disable automatic upgrade
Hi,
I notice today while processing payroll that our system had automatically upgraded. I wish to disable this setting, but don't see anything in My Account > Preferences. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Indication on when timetrex.ini.php needs to be updated
While trying to fix a recent issue, I noticed the timetrex.ini.php file had been updated since my initial install. Every time a new patch was released, I was just copying the original file to the new install folder. Is there a notification somehwere that can give me an indication when this file need...

Re: TimeTrex automatic upgrade has failed due to a system er
The error seems to have resolved itself after adding the nameservers. Not sure why the error stuck around for a day after reinstall, but it has been absent for about a week. Assuming this will no longer be a problem.

Re: TimeTrex automatic upgrade has failed due to a system er
I was having issues with the server connecting to ubuntu software repositories which was resolved by adding our ISP nameservers to the /etc/network/interfaces file. I tried a reinstall of timetrex since that time thinking it was the cause of the problem, but the error has resurfaced today.

TimeTrex automatic upgrade has failed due to a system error!
I've also been experiencing this issue since upgrading to 7.3.6. I'm running on Ubuntu Server 12.04.4 with Apache v2.2.22/PHP v5.3.10/PostgreSQL 9.3. I tried to reinstall but it only temporarily resolved the error. Current logs are attached. I think the error is being triggered at line 225 where it ...
