Timesheet View - Audit Features V3 to V5
Hi there, In V3 of the software, you are able to click on the PENDING link in the column for the day and see the change request from the employee even after the punch has been corrected. However, in V5 of the software clicking on PENDING does not show the PENDING requests. You can see requests by cl...

REQUEST: Please add TAGS to the available reporting options
Greetings:
In TimeTrex 5.0.8 when creating a new "Who's In" report, it would be great if I could also include tags. This would allow me to look for a resource with a certain skill easily.
Thanks!

Change the default view of time sheets?
Greetings,
We would like to change the default view of time sheets so that it lines up with our pay periods. We pay on a Monday - Sunday week.
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Surpass

Upgrade Script for Linux ZIP file users
Greetings, I thought I would share my bash script I use to upgrade TimeTrex. It creates a dump of the database (Postgres) and zips up the TimeTex directory. The script is executed as: tt_upgrade.sh $URL (save below commands to a script file and make sure it is executable) The $URL is the download lo...

Re: New v5.0.1 - Importing data directly from web interface
2) After doing an import, the cache needs to be cleared on the server for updates to show correctly. To me this defeats the purpose of a web import process. I disabled cache in the timetrex ini file, but the import process still created cache there. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by this? ...

Re: New v5.0.1 - Importing data directly from web interface
Thanks Shaun, I guess my question was more to the point of which fields were available for use. I figured it out once I uploaded a dummy CSV. I have discovered a few bugs/challenges, how would you like them reported? 1) A column header of "First Name" defaults to birth date as a field, but...

Re: 64 Bit Linux Install
To install TimeTrex in a clean install for CentOS 64-bit, I had to add the following packages:
I will be adding in LDAP authentication as well and will update the list as needed.
Code: Select all
yum install glibc.i686 stdc++.i686 php
