Changing messages.po and messages.mo

Hi, I've changed all the msgstr entries related to "Pay Stub" to "Pay Slip" in /interface/locale/en_US/LC_MESSAGES/messages.po and then updated messages.mo with msgfmt, but it still displays the original text even after cleaning the server and browser cache. Pls, could anyone hel...
