Changing province / country details
I would like to add South Africa's provinces to the avaliable drop-down list. I found the country and provinces in factory.class.php, but when I try to add South Africa's provinces, it presents me with a blank page. The only successful option I could get to work, was to chnge the '00' => '--' to 'MP...

Success at last
After I've read all the posts and posted a few myself re. my problem (blank first page on installation), I found the solution on one post. It was all related to the fact that we need to insert a username and password for a proxy server. Even after commenting out fopen( and fclose( as suggested, it s...

I had a similar issue, which got resolved after I used Apache 2.0.59 instead of Apache 2.2.3 I don't recall the link, but I read something to the effect that Apache2.2.3 has some issues with PHP5.2.0. Please correct me . I've tried Apache2Triad 1.5.4. (Apache 2.2.0, MySQL 5.0.18, PHP 5.1.2) which p...

Same Error
Try editing interface/install/install.php and removing every "@" (without the quotes, there should be 4 of them), then try it again. Without any error logs we are shooting in the dark, but this may give us a clue. Hi Shaunw I struggled with the same issue in previous posts and also couldn...

Thanks for the reply. I tried to do the upgrade but I recieved a blank page even on the very first page (with other words, nothing of the upgrade was done). I then restored my 1.2 installation back to a working state, tried it again - same result: blank page. I've tried a new installation on my seco...

If this is a fresh installation and you don't have any important data in the database your best bet is to just delete the database and re-install then. Are there another way of modifying my current installation's admin permission (maybe in the database)? Re-installation is not possible! I restored ...

Time Zone
What would the correct syntax be to set the timezone manually in inerface.inc.php. This is the text as from this file: //Instead of using timezone names, we could set time_zone = "-08:00"; //This might get around the fact that MySQL doesn't always have timezone data imported. if ( @$db->Ex...
