New v5.0.1 - Importing data directly from web interface
Hello Shaun, I noticed in the changelog for v5.0.1 that it mentions "Importing data can now be performed directly from the web interface" I perused your demo and could not find where that can be done. Also, what kind of data can be imported? -schedules? -employees? -punches? Is this availa...

Does latest version of Timetrex(v3.1.0) run on PHP v5.3.1?
Hello TimeTrex folks, I am dusting off my past knowledge of TimeTrex installation notes and recalling that even though you publish that TimeTrex runs on PHP 5.x, it was actually not totally true. My recall says it would not run on 5.3.x. The latest build of XAMMP installs PHP 5.3.1 so want to make s...

Forcing recalculation after fixing a misconfigured rule
Shaun,
I noticed that i did not have the rounding rule setup correctly. The 'Recalculate' function will not work for existing transactions in the current pay period.
Is there a way to force the recalculation after correcting a rule?
Thanks,
Lloyd

Showing actual punches on Timesheet or report
Shaun,
is there a way to show actual punch times on the timesheet or Time Card report.
I see that you can add the Actual IN and OUT in the Punch Summary.
Will that be available in the Time Card or timesheet anytime soon?
Thanks,
Lloyd

Re: punch column map question
Hi Shaun,
thanks for the quick response. I did not realize that numerical values were not used.
I have a final question. What about transfers? What alpha values are used for status_id and type_id for transfers?
Thanks,
Lloyd

punch column map question
Hello TimeTrex,
I am doing some punch imports and have a question about what the key values are for type_id and status_id.
example: instead of using IN or OUT for status_id, I would like to use the actual number equivalents.
Also, for type_id, what values are available?
Thanks,
Lloyd

Ok, Shaun, I applied the import_punches.php fix. The import brought the punches in. Only issue is that it is causing an issue in the timesheet. It indicates missing punches. The Pay Policy only has one simple OT rule and nothing else. So, not sure why this is happening. I did not have this issue wit...

Shaun, I have a final question related to this thread. What is the importance of clearing out the cache from the tmp folder after doing a punch import? Hi Shaun,
Is there a page location in TimeTrex that only presents the punch window after login?
If not, I will build something myself that creates a punch import file.
Thanks,
Lloyd

Shaun, I need to understand the consequences of the chron job not running on a minute-by-minute basis. What all does it do beside keep things calculated, checking for holidays, compute accruals, etc. Anything behind the scenes that we need to be aware of? I have worked with many T&A apps in my c...
