Hi,
I just installed this software and I love the interface and all of the features, I think this will work for me. However, I do need the ability to use LDAP for authentication so our employees must use their domain password (and thus discourage password sharing). I am running TimeTrex on Linux, do I need to install something else for LDAP to work? I am running Wireshark to monitor traffic on my LDAP server and TimeTrex is not attempting to connect at all.
New installation, LDAP not even trying to connect
Re: New installation, LDAP not even trying to connect
Have you configured TimeTrex to use your LDAP server already?
Re: New installation, LDAP not even trying to connect
I have, it's just not trying to use those settings.
Re: New installation, LDAP not even trying to connect
Do you have the PHP-LDAP extension installed?
Re: New installation, LDAP not even trying to connect
I do, however I didn't think that mattered anyway because it installed it's own php instalation into the /home/ directory I specified.

If you are installing TimeTrex on a modern Linux distribution, we don't recommend that you use the automated installer from the binary file, you should use the packages that come with your Linux distribution instead.
