Reports in hours and minutes instead of decimals.

Post by fgjruiz »

Hi, I'm testing the latest community edition of TimeTrex for a client and am trying to export reports in CSV format in Timetrex, but all the times in the report come out in decimal numbers instead of hh:mm. I have changed the time unit format for my user and even logged out and back in. The right format shows up on the screens, but not in the reports. Am I missing something that I have to do?

Thank you!

When exporting to CSV the data is formatted for a spreadsheet (ie: Excel), so it uses decimal hours that Excel can actually handle rather then HH:MM.

That makes sense. We are dealing with an incompetent archaic department at a payroll company that I will not name (hint: NOT ADP).

The hoops I had to jump through to manually produce a CSV file they could work with...
