We are running into problems with employee overtime becuase they cannot tell how many hours they've worked in a week by looking at 'MyTimeSheet'. We are on a semi-monthly pay schedule, so the work weeks rarely jive with the pay periods. At best, the timesheet shows the employee how much overtime they've put in after they've clocked out, which is too late. What would it take to add a row for Accumulated Work Week Hours on the MyTimeSheet page that shows a count of the hours in each work week (usually what they are viewing anyway).

I'm confused by that statement, TimeTrex can not show total hours worked in a day until an employee has paired all of their punches (essentially punched out).

What is the actual problem that you are trying to solve?

Here's a screenshot to help illustrate. The work week is Monday through Sunday, which is reflected in the view. However, the Pay Period started on February 16th, a Tuesday. So all the totals below in the Accumulated Time section are related to the Pay Period (except the OT row). This is fine for the payroll department, but if an employee needs to know when their 40 hours is up, they need to manually add up how many hours they've worked, including the Monday that isn't represented in any of the Accumulated totals.

It would be great if there was a row, either in the Paid Time or Accumulated Time section (whichever makes sense) that shows a total of hours for the Work Week being viewed. This week should show 40:02. For example:

-- Accumulated Time --
Regular Time | 31:40 // This is the accumulated time for the Pay Period
Work Week | 40:02 // This is the accumulated time for the Work Week
OT | 00:02 // This is the over time

The more I look at this the less I'm sure on where to put that information, but it would be very valuable to the employee, especially if they have management breathing down their neck not to get overtime. Does that help?

Below is a screenshot with a mockup of a running total row. Not sure if a running total makes much sense. All I'm really looking for is a total by Work Week.

Okay, I see.

This feature will be available in the next major version of TimeTrex (likely v4.0), the bad news is that it will be at least 6 months before that version is released.

Thank you for the update, Shaun. We used to use another vendor but switched to TimeTrex a while back. This is one of the features we really miss from the old provider. Here's a screenshot of their time sheet, with the feature we'd like circled in red.

You can click one of the printer icons in the top left of the TimeSheet page to display a printable timesheet, which does total the hours for each week, but its based on the pay period start date, not the overtime week, thats the only issue.
