Rounding to two decimal places on paystubs

Post by Collin »

Is there any way to have TimeTrex round hours on paystubs to two decimal places (40.00)? I ask this because when we manually entered the information with 4 decimal places into quickbooks it showed we were off by one penny. Due to the rounding being different in quickbooks.

Thanks,
Collin

By default TimeTrex does round hours on pay stubs to 2 decimal places unless a calculation requires more precision, in which case it can go up to 4 decimal places.

What exactly are you trying to enter into QuickBooks? If TimeTrex handles the payroll, usually you would just enter dollar amounts into your accounting software, if TimeTrex does not handle payroll you would enter time data into your accounting software and not bother with generating pay stubs in TimeTrex at all.
