This is a PostgreSQL issue it looks like:

Try renaming:

libeay32.dll

to:

libeay32_off.dll

In your Windows System32 directory, then try re-installing.

Thanks Shaun....I tried that. It didn't work.

I am a network engineer so that means google is my friend....i google everything...:)...but that didn't work. Any more suggestions? Where on the forum can I post a screenshot of the error and the point of install? Will that help you? Is there anyone there you can ask?

Try downloading the PostgreSQL 8.2 windows installer itself:

ftp://ftp2.ca.postgresql.org/pub/mirror ... .2.4-1.zip

See if that will install on its own, because that is where the error is happening.

You can of course skip the TimeTrex Windows installer and do it manually if you like.

Its something with your machine/setup thats causing PostgreSQL to not install.

I would try asking on the PostgreSQL mailing list to get further help as they would be much more likely to know the cause.
