PhP_GetText or File_GetText

Post by jobarrett »

Hi,

Can anyone help. I've tried many permutations to the php.ini file but I cannot resolve this error.

'' PHP GetText extension is not installed, TimeTrex requires GetText to be installed.

For installation support, please join our community forums or contact a TimeTrex support expert for Implementation Support Services. ''

'' Although I am newbie to SQL, PHP & Linux I have eventually managed to install Pear on Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) PHP/5.2.0 running on QNap-NasARM TS-109.

The initial Pears error is now resolved but it seems from reading many pages that, I have not enabled the Php_GetText extension in the php.ini.

I am also confused as their is no listing in Pear's Channels for PHP_GetText only File_GetText. Are they the same thing? If not, how do I make the appropriate ammendmments.

And if I've missed the point Please Enlighten me...

Many Thanks
:?

The php-gettext was hell on windows. I resorted to the windows installer which made it work fine.

On my Linux box, the default php package already had gettext on it.

You might try going here:
