MyTimeSheet problem

Post by rmiell »

I am in the process of setting up all modules. Now, since last Friday, I am not able to open the MyTimeSheet page. I get an error "The website cannot display the page".

I am using TimeTrex Standard Ver 2.2.15 on WindowsXP Pro SP3.

Any help?

What is the exact URL in your browser when you get that message?

Have you tried starting TimeTrex again with icon in Start -> Programs -> TimeTrex?

http://localhost:8085/interface/timesheet/view user time sheet.php

Thanks for the reply

I have restarted it numerous times, logging in each time.

Are you sure that is the exact URL? If so, that URL does not exist in TimeTrex. How did you get directed to that URL, do you know?

The correct URL would be:
http://localhost:8085/interface/timeshe ... eSheet.php

I think when I typed it here I put spaces in it, which it should not have. It looks like the same as what you typed. Here is a copy of the address, taken directly from the browser address window.

http://localhost:8085/interface/timeshe ... eSheet.php

I am directed to this page when I click on MyTimeSheet from the timesheet tab.

Thanks again.

So TimeTrex functions fine, except when you try to go to the TimeSheet you get a page cannot be displayed error?

If so, does this file exist in your TimeTrex directory:

timetrex/interface/timesheet/ViewUserTimeSheet.php

Yes, it is there, as you list.

I was able to go into my history of addresses (via down arrow in my browser window) and I selected one from an earlier time, and I successfully opened MyTimeSheet.

Here is the address I selected, at random.

http://localhost:8085/interface/timeshe ... ext_week=1

I don't know why , but that worked. Do I have a bad page in my TimeTrex directory?

I am now able to pull up the page, since I manually put the address I talked about in my previous post. Each time I leave or log off, I am able to get MyTimeSheet to open correctly.

I don't know why it was not doing it before, but all is ok now.

Thanks for your help.
