Fitting the entire schedule on one page (FPDF)

Post by jreade »

My needs require me to print out a schedule like

http://quanterion.net/ViewScheduleMonth.php.htm

but when I use the print functionality you have implemented I get this

http://quanterion.net/ViewScheduleMonth.pdf

which is ok. But I would like it to fit on one page. I could make the font smaller but that makes it too hard to read. I would like to put the users names so that there are 2 on one line but I just realized that FPDF only prints left to right and not top down. So basically the name gowan is not directly after the name kinsella in the array making it next to impossible to put them on the same line.

Do you have any suggestions of how I would fix this problem?

Maybe when the data is prepared so it can be written out line by line, left to right, the labels could be combined some how to make them be in the same cell?

Thank you again for all your help!

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions for you at this time, it may be a quite invasive change to do what you want though.

That's alright and it does seem like it's gonna be a quite invasive change.
