Automatic punch-in and punch-out on new employee first use

I have installed Timetrex and it works fine except when a new employee registers on the system for the first time. This results in an automatic punch-in and punch-out for ALL employees for the day. If some employees already punched-in for the day another punch-in is generated together with the accompanying punch-out according to the schedule.

Can anyone help me prevent this problem.

It sounds like you have enabled the Auto-Pilot function in your Schedule -> Recurring Schedules. Auto-Pilot does exactly what you mentioned, it automatically punches employees in/out based on their schedule.

If you have auto-pilot enabled for an employee they should not be punching in/out at all.
