Manual install help with 2k3 Server / IIS6 / Postgre

Post by dsi »

I have PHP correctly installed and am using FastCGI with IIS6. I am not installing Apache.

I did the manual install and have "all OKs" on the 2nd installation screen. I installed postgre 8.3 and it is working properly with PHP. When I attempt to get throught the timetrex install I get the following:

PHP Warning: pg_connect() [function.pg-connect]: Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server: FATAL: database "timetrex" does not exist in E:\TimeTrex\timetrex\classes\adodb\drivers\adodb-postgres64.inc.php on line 688

How do I get TimeTrex to make its database in postgre?

It applies to Windows for the most part too. You need to create the timetrex user/database using the same PostgreSQL tools in Windows as you would in Linux.
