Issues with printing W2 (both 2008 & 2009)

Post by suregain »

I am currently using the TimeTrex Std v 2.2.19. I have setup the software to have proper PayStub accounts enabled and have some sample employees included as well for payroll calcs. Here are some problems that I have run into and any solution or insight you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

1. For the state of Maryland, MD State Income Tax is not calculated at all in the paystub. I instead used the District/County Paystub Account (set up the withholding to be about 8% - MD State + Local Tax rate) to account fo this.

2. The State Name (MD) and State Tax ID (XXXXXXXXX) are not printed on W2.

3. The District/County Tax, though I included all the columns (not just the default 6 columns) for W2 prints, does not print the District/County Tax that is properly calculated on the pay stub. Instead, it seems to print State Unemployment Insurance Amount under State Income Tax.

Are there any workarounds to resolve the above issues?

Thanks!!![/b]

You will need to upgrade to v2.2.20 when its released in the next week or so, that should help.
