Backup format name

Hi! I have a problem with the automatic backups name. When I installed to windows xp normal, it creates backups with name+date.
I have installed on 2 servers with windows 2003 server R2, but when it create a backup it named it as name+month.
For example: instead of timetrex_database_20111112.sql, it creates only timetrex_database_11.sql
and this is a problem because every day I just have 1 backup, it overwrites this. so 1 backup/month.
can anyone help me?
