Absence Automation

Absence automation. Is it possible in TT to give an absence punch if an employee hasn't punched in within a certain time period??

Let's say that an employee is supposed to punch in at 9.00 but doesn't show up the whole day so is it possible to make a default absence punch on that day?? If there are any settings related to this please do tell me a way to configure it, appreciate the help.
