Ok I've been through this site and I can't find my problem. tried a couple of the other fixes and it's a no go. Here is the error I get
Upon Installation about a 1/4 the way through I get this error:
Error
There has been an error.
Error Running C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.2\/bin/psql -U "CREATE ROLE timetrex LOGIN PASSWORD 'cb70c129' NOSUPERUSER NOCREATEROLE VALID UNTIL 'infinity';" : psql: FATAL: password
authentication failed for user "postgres"
The application will exit now
And then installation stops, and closes. I had to install SQL 8.2 outside of timetrex, cause there was an error when I tried to install Timetrex, by itself.
I am running Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2
I've checked my SQL database and there is a user called 'postgres' there with all the permissions to write everything......but can't seem to get past this part. Can anybody help me?
Error Running
The error I get when using the installer Without pre installing PregreSQl is:
When teh installer tries to install PostGre SQL 8.2 on it's own it says:
Internal account lookup failure: No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.
I press OK, and then I get another error:
There was an error.
Error running C:\program Files\TimeTrex\postgresql\install_settings.bat "4882c200" "4882c200" : Program ended with an error exit code
The application will exit now
Does any of this help?

Try Googling for that error message, you may also want to try this link:

Sounds like it has something to do with your Windows installation and security settings.

You are correct I did find out that my All Unknown ISAPI Extensions was not allowed, once I allowed it it went through...any clue what EXACT ISAPI I might need to enable and how to do it?shaunw wrote:Try Googling for that error message, you may also want to try this link:
