Net Pay $0 in pay stub

hi, why in some of all pay stubs the net pay apears $0???

Some employes have net pay $xxxx.xx and others $0

How can i fixit?

Please provide more information. What are the total earnings for employees with $0 net pay?

the earnings are not the same for those employees.

this ocurs on some months, someone are good but others show $0

i supouse its a bad insert of the data in the database.

tomorow i will examine the database for find some error.

hi, i was cheking the database, truncating some tables and making new pay stubs

the problem seems to be in the table pay_stub_entry because the pay stub with the net pay an some more thinks good had 18 rows in that table.
and the pay stubs with net pay 0 has 17 or less rows.

if i truncate all pay_stubs related tables, the problem of 0 net pay its in all pay_stubs

maibe its a configuration issue, because my boss doesnt remember if they do any change in the configuration.

We are recently testing timetrex for use it in the company.

i'am a php programer designed to modify timetrex with the requirements of the company once the timetrex have aproved by my boss.

Because we are from argentina some stuff of timetrex doesnt match with our law, and we have to changeit. Once i made the changes i will upload to the forum for who wanted.

Its more likely a setup issue then a bug.

However you haven't provided any detailed information on your setup so we are unable to help you figure out what the issue is.

Lets start with the basics. What are the exact numbers for each line item on the pay stubs with a $0 net pay? Can you post copies of the pay stubs?

The issue appears to be with the order value of your pay stub accounts.

Pay stub accounts should all be grouped together by there order value.

For example:

My guess is your pay stub accounts look something like this instead:

That will not work and cause very strange results. The latest version of TimeTrex tries to prevent this from happening, but it can't prevent 100% of the cases.

If you copy and paste all your pay stub accounts and their order values (in order) I can tell you exactly where the issue is.

my boss order in that way because of laws on argentina, and the methods or make pay stubs, example:

"adicional no remunerativo" not have to be in earnings, but must count as earning, thats the motiv of the order.

i will try tomorow of order fine the earnings.

the order in the pay stub i will make it directly in the factory class , of that way we dont have to modifi thinks in the database, and the timetrex run well

Trying to circumvent the order process is extremely complicated and in depth. Its not just a display issue, its how things are calculated deep within the code. I don't recommend it at all.

I don't speak Spanish, so I can't say for sure, but it appears as though you've created additional "Total" accounts that TimeTrex surely doesn't know how to handle.

Failing that, you can always install a test TimeTrex system which will create the default pay stub accounts for you, then match your current system up to those.
