Re: API config for Timesheet summary/Export Payroll
It was easy enough to convert to an array from CSV. Export_columns question: I'm using the employee's user id (UUID) instead of "Employee #" in all my programming so that I don't have to worry about someone changing my key. Any way to get the user's UUID added to "export_columns"...

Re: API config for Timesheet summary/Export Payroll
Kind of wondered about the urlencode but it's in the postToURL function on https://www.timetrex.com/workforce-management-api. I edited it out. // $post_data = 'json='.urlencode( json_encode($data) ); $post_data = 'json='.json_encode($data); I'm getting result data back but it's coming in as CSV inst...

Re: API config for Timesheet summary/Export Payroll
I found some array vs object formatting issues but now the only think returned from curl for $result is the column headers and no data. $result = ""Employee #","Last Name","First Name","Pay Period","Production Pay","Sealant/Production Bonus...

Re: API config for Timesheet summary/Export Payroll
API from my own code. I copied the code from https://www.timetrex.com/workforce-management-api for buildURL, handleResult and postToURL and made minor alteration to work in my code base.

Re: API config for Timesheet summary/Export Payroll
Pretty old but I'm coming back to this. At this point I want every client's export to be identical and unchangeable, I'm going with the option to build the config from data retrieved through the API. I've got this working but, it is returning the "-1002-columns". I need it to return the &q...

Re: List all Employees JSON API
Is there an argument for returning the data sorted by 'last_name', 'first_name', 'middle_name'? I can sort it in PHP but I'm wondering if it would be faster and more streamline for my use if it came already in the order I want to display it.

Re: API config for Timesheet summary/Export Payroll
Yes I have it returning exactly what and how I want it through the UI in a saved report. I've attached a copy of the timetrex.log while I was running the UI version hoping to get some clues. I pruned it down for what I didn't think mattered so hopefully I didn't over prune. We have multiple separate...

Touch Tone Phone
We purchase the Business edition and would like to know exactly what (and how much $$$) is involved in setting up the Touch Tone Phone Timetrex punch in. We are using Cisco IP phones systems for our corporate branches. I didn't see any documentation or forum posts on what this takes. Any info would ...

Re: Assign employees to multiple branches and departments
When employees punch in/out, they can choose a branch/department at that time, thereby recording their time to any given department. You will then see on the employees timesheet (and reports) time allotted to each branch/department accordingly. Where exactly is that report???? I'd like a "Time...

Re: Down for Maintenance on Delete punch
Yup, just delete all the files/directories inside in the TimeTrex cache directory. You don't want to delete the cache directory itself, otherwise you will need to re-create it and make sure the proper permissions are set. This won't affect anything at all, the cache files are designed to be deleted...

Re: Down for Maintenance on Delete punch
I'm not able to replicate this issue on our end, so first please try to clear out your TimeTrex cache directory to see if that helps (could be a permission issue), if that doesn't work try upgrading to v3.0.8 of TimeTrex. How do I clear the cache directory (eg rm -rfR [cachedir] or is there a clear...

Down for Maintenance on Delete punch
When using the punch list to delete (check box line and delete button at the bottom of the page) we get this message. Down for Maintenance TimeTrex is unable to connect to its database, please make sure that the database has been started and is running. But if I edit the punch it let's me delete fro...
