Updating timetrex.ini.php-linux in the [database] section
Hello, What are your thoughts on the timetrex.ini.php-example_linux default file to provide just a little bit more details in the database section? This may improve the user experiance a little bit. That section currently reads: 38 ; Database connection settings. These can be set from the installer....

Re: advanced crontab q: off peak hours
Hey shaun, When you said nicing the crontab tasks would 'renice' the maintenance jobs, does that mean the jobs were already 'nice'd (per the unix command 'nice'?) I grepped through for the 'nice' command in the TimeTrex directory and didn't see the command 'nice' in use. Perhaps I am wrong, but mayb...

Re: advanced crontab q: off peak hours
Hey, thanks for responding and providing that detail. After reading your post which suggested that having tasks run less frequently, as was observed, "may actually hurt server performance", I just thought to ask something: When I've setup cron entries for other tasks in my 'crontab -e', I ...

advanced crontab q: off peak hours
Hello again, Got a few questions about TimeTrax's crontab config. The readme file that comes with TimeTrex suggests that timetrax's cron.php needs to run every minute (as well as some of these forum posts which suggest architectural or historical reasons for the software currently doing so [1] [2]) ...

timetrex and mysql timezone support
Hello, I'm tasked with installing timetrex and evaluating it for potential long term use (which also means i would be the one keeping it running stable if we decide to purchase and host it here  We have a small team, we provide mysql support and we haven't been offering postgresql which is wh...
