Calculating Deductions
Hi, I need to know how to calculate the deductions on timetrex v7. I need to calculate 30% tax on the gross salary after deducting 600,000 annually which will be $11,538 weekly, $23,077 fortnightly and $50,000 monthly. Also, for each employee working more than $50,000 monthly I need to calculate 5.6...

Re: Calculating Bonuses
Let's say you have the data as: SPH - 2.5 Total Sales 100 Rate per sale $60 Formula should be: IF SPH >= 1.1 THEN Total Sales * Rate per sale ELSE no bonus They have to get the required SPH before they can get paid for the sales. so employee did get more than 1.1 SPH, they got 2.5 so their bonus sho...

Re: Deduct Allowances from Regular Time
Hi Shaun,
Is there a way that I can import the bonuses and sales from a csv file? Employees are paid a bonus of $25 for each sale they make. Can I put the sales amount in a csv file for each employee and import it into TimeTrex?

Re: Deduct Allowances from Regular Time
Ok, I will have to suggest that these items be split to avoid this problem. I realize that it will be a major issue. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

Re: Deduct Allowances from Regular Time
Ok, this is how our system is designed and what I'm trying to see if TimeTrex can do. Regular hourly rate is $240 From this hourly rate there is a travel allowance at $630 daily So let's say employee works 8 hours @ $240 = $1920 The $630 is already in the $1920 But before I can calculate income tax ...

Re: Deduct Allowances from Regular Time
Hi,
How do you create allowances that are based on the amount of days employee has worked? For example: travelling allowance - there's a daily rate, how do I set it to check the amount of days employee has worked so it can multiply the rate by the number of days.
Thanks.

Deduct Allowances from Regular Time
Our payroll system is set-up in such a way that the non-taxable allowances (travelling, meal, periodical) are included in the regular rate. Is there a way to deduct a percent of the gross to show as the allowances before the tax is calculated? Or do you have to put the allowances as a separate earni...

Re: Completing amount of time on specific jobs
Ok thanks for your quick response. I see what you're talking about and I understand. You see we're a telemarketing company and we have a dialer that tracks the login hours for the agents, when the log in and log out either for breaks, lunch and even washroom breaks or to reboot their system, they do...

Ok, well as I mentioned earlier I never worked with .php files so I'm new to it. I'm attaching the file please tell me exactly where to input the file name. I changed the extension to .txt
The file name is import_punches.csv
The Column Map File is punch_column_map.txt
Thanks.

Importing Punches using import_punches.php
I'm having trouble importing punches using the import_punches.php. I edited the import_punches.csv and import_punches2.csv using the same format as it is when timetrex was installed (found in timetrex/tools/import/...). I did not edit the import_punches.php file as I am new to this and don't know if...

I'm having a problem with the default wage group, I didn't set anything, when I went to generate pay stubs or check on an employee wages it says - "This employee does not have a wage set for the default wage group, therefore they will not receive any regular time earnings. " What's wrong t...
