Scheduling
Hi, I know there've been various threads on scheduling and updates are coming in v5.0. In the meantime, our managers are going "crazy" with scheduling and have found a package called 'whentomanage' that fulfills the flexibility that they need (drag and drop shifts to other workers, fill sh...

Only Allow Breaks
Hi, Is there a way to only allow the add-on break if an employee works x amount of hours? For example, an employee is allowed a 30 minute paid break anytime within the day if they work a minimum of 6 hours. So within say, 45 minutes of starting work, the employee can take a 30 minute paid break only...

Possible Redesign of Home Screen
This may be in the works but a screen similar to this would be extremely helpful as a home screen for everyone...where accrual and time off information is displayed both with dates an in a calendar format with color coding (in this case blue is a holiday, red is a sick day and orange is a vacation d...

Restricting Access to Features in the My Account Tab
This is in addition to my previous request regarding restriction of access to the phone password screen. In the My Account tab, we would like the employees to be able to set their preferences and their web password without any interaction with payroll. However, we want to give them view only access ...

Restricting Regular Employees from Accessing Phone Password
Hi
I started this thread on the help forum: http://forums.timetrex.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2302
Can this be added to the permissions groups? We'd like to restrict access to this screen.
Thanks.
Lisa

Re: Restricting Regular Employees from Accessing Phone Password
That's too bad... I went to the stations list as advised and so many stations listed. I disabled all except for the 3 physical time clocks. Not sure where all of these stations came from. Thanks,

Restricting Regular Employees from Accessing Phone Password
Hi,
In permissions groups, I see where I can select the level of access a specific group of employees can have. I'm trying to deny access to the phone password screen as we do not want regular employees to use/access this feature. How do I do this?

Dynamic "Who's In" Report
Hi, It would be lovely if the Who's In Report could be dynamic where the user configures how often the screen refreshes. The desire would be to keep this screen up in the office area where they're answering calls and seeing automatically who's in without having to generate a report each time in a se...

Reporting/ Drill Down Capabilities
Hi, Would love to see the results of most reports remain within the TimeTrex window instead of it opening a new window divorced from the system. This would make it possible to click on line in a report and have it drill down to the time sheet or accrual or whatever the background information is for ...

Re: Accrual Policies Displayed on Edit Absence Screen
Hi, On the Edit Absence Screen, it's asking for selection of an accrual policy: Screen shot 2011-03-29 at 6.48.12 PM.png Which pulls up a list of whatever's in there: Screen shot 2011-03-29 at 6.48.28 PM.png so you're saying that although it specifies accrual policy, it's is really the absence polic...

Re: Accrual Policies Displayed on Edit Absence Screen

It displays every single accrual policy we have in the system. The user must then scroll around until the applicable policy is found. I was wonderi...

Accrual Policies Displayed on Edit Absence Screen

Re: Missed Punch Exception
Hi, We're in test mode still and are therefore not using the physical clocks yet. The clocks will be the only way our workers can clock in and out. We have a missed punch as a high severity exception with the option to email both the employee and the supervisor. As soon as a worker clocks in, I beli...

Re: Expanding Payroll Export Functionality
Hi,
While the ability to export accrual balances is exactly what we need, the format isn't. Would it be difficult/possible to have it formatted like the millenium payroll export so that we could map to specific codes and each balance becomes a separate row for an employee?
Thanks,
Lisa

Re: Selecting Accrual Policy for Absence
Our first thought was to use hour based accruals but the problem is that the system includes all worked hours including overtime so staff could earn more time off than they should. And if staff didn't use all of their time off in a year, they would also accrue more time off than they should. If we a...

Selecting Accrual Policy for Absence
Hi, I'm hoping there's an easier way to achieve time off accrual and usage. We are using calendar based accruals to ensure all of our hourly employees accrue the correct amount of time off annually. We've had to numerous accrual policies/absence to correspond to employees work weeks for both vacatio...

Re: Exceptions Not Appearing on Home Page
When I demo'd this for 2 supervisors prior to today, it so happened that they had the same number of exceptions as their employees so it was a perk to show them that they could immediately see on their home screen how many exception conditions there were. They loved this feature! I'll let them know ...

Payroll Export of Absence Hours Only for Salaried Employees
Hi, I posted a similar thread but it had multiple queries so I'm starting this new thread. We are planning to use TimeTrex for time and attendance only and retain our current payroll company. We will use your millenium export feature to upload the data into our payroll system. Is there a switch or a...
