Qualification Summary Report - Date Sorting
We are trying to sort the Qualification Summary report by [Skill Expiry Date]. We've opened the report and added the field [Skill Expiry Date] to the top of the [Sort By] selection. The report is being sorted by this field, but it is not sorted correctly. The report is sorting the field by alpha-num...

system_log and system_log_detail tables too large
We are hosting TimeTrex on a Ubuntu 14.04 server. The PostgreSQL database indicates that the following two tables have grown quite large. system_log - size 1,936,834,560 system_log_detail - size 2,731,417,600 This is approaching nearly 5 gig of space devoted to log files. Can these log tables be tri...

Re: Updating Vacation after Rollover
Thanks for the explanation. It would be a nice enhancement though - to be able to do everything I've suggested in this post without being bound to the vacation request functionality. TimeTrex is used all over the world. In many countries, the employees do not have access to the company payroll syste...

Re: Updating Vacation after Rollover
Consider the situation where a manager is out of pocket and an employee approaches the substitute manager. "Can I have tomorrow off, something important requires my time." "Yes," the substitute says, "I'll send your manager an email so they can update TimeTrex when they retu...

Re: Updating Vacation after Rollover
It is very unlikely that we will ever have a management staff who can keep up with vacation times and get them entered before a rollover period. It is unfortunate that TimeTrex calculates it's accrual balances based on the Audit Date instead of the Effective Date of the accrual record. Therefore the...

Updating Vacation after Rollover
We have an vacation accrual that gets updated every Oct 1st. Effective Oct 1st, each participating employee receives their new vacation allotment of 80 hours. Example: Sep 27 - Employee has 20 hours of vacation accrued remaining Sep 29 - Employee takes 8 hours vacation, but TimeTrex is not updated O...

Re: Annual Hourly Rate is Too High
Warnings by default will only be shown to the consumers of the web interface, not to the API. Because of this configuration, we continue to struggle with this problem using the API. Therefore, for others who use TimeTrex internationally, this may be helpful. Each time we upgrade to the latest versi...

Re: Permissions - Qualifications Summary
Wow that was a fast response!! For others viewing this post, it appears the user must have Employees -> View permissions. Employees -> View Own/Subordinate is not adequate. It would be nice if the report could be generated for Subordinates only. I don't really want to give this person access to view...

Oops - I posted too soon. The solution given doesn't seem to be working. Its the: HR Reports -> Employee Qualifications permission that you are looking for. Problem - When I give this permission, the user has access to the reports. When they click View, they get a PDF with the following information:...

How do you add and remove tags from a user?
I've tried using the API class CompanyGenericTag function called deleteCompanyGenericTag() , but this only removes the tag from the database. Opening the employee in TimeTrex shows the tag is still there but orphaned. // this code leaves an orphaned tag still associated with the user record $ttAPI =...

It appears that the Premium Policy is being calculated on the day after the holiday, but the overtime policy is being calculated on the holiday as it should, is that correct? No, that's not correct.
