Re: DIscontinuing: Issue with Error Message. New topic

It seems like the installer URL you are using is incorrect and it may be redirecting you back to the main login screen. The error message you are seeing should only appear when on the main login screen and when the timetrex.ini.php has installer_enabled = TRUE set.

Re: DIscontinuing: Issue with Error Message. New topic

In that case, you will need to upgrade TimeTrex to the latest version, which does support PHP v7.4. Note that you need to do this in the exact same way that you originally installed TimeTrex. So if you installed TimeTrex originally from a .ZIP, use the .ZIP to upgrade. If you installed from the .DEB...

Re: DIscontinuing: Issue with Error Message. New topic

Run the TimeTrex web installer system requirements check step and it will provide you with exact details on the error. Note that this does not require downloading or installing anything whatsoever, its simply accessing the installer URL like this: http://mydomain.com/timetrex/interface/install/insta...

Re: Getting Local Taxes onto W2s - kinda Urgent please

If you changed the Pay Stub Account previously, you don't need to try and change it back now (which wouldn't take effect retroactively anyways), you just need to properly link it everything that is needed to the new pay stub account so it can be used now. With the W2's you need to ensure the Form Se...

Re: Issue with Error Message and 2020

So that confirms a few things I mentioned previously such as: 1. You have a non-standard PHP installation using the "SURY" repository, not from Ubuntu itself. 2. PHP's PGSQL extension is not enabled. 3. It is PHP v7.4 not v7.2, so you likely not only have two copies of TimeTrex installed but two dif...

Re: Issue with Error Message and 2020

Depending on your linux distribution or how your PHP is installed, it may not be a php.ini file at all, it may be handled in separate conf.d/*.ini files for each PHP extension. Since that is outside the scope of TimeTrex, you would be better off asking how to enable the PostgreSQL PHP extension for ...

Re: Emailing Paystubs

Try changing it to "mail" instead of "soap", then it will send through your servers local mail system. The TimeTrex log file (if logging is enabled) should provide you all necessary information to troubleshoot further.

Yes, if you are not receiving emails from TimeTrex you may need to define your own SMTP settings in the timetrex.ini.php file.

Re: Issue with Error Message and 2020

The "DatabaseType" failed requirement is the PostgreSQL (PGSQL) PHP extension not being enabled in /etc/php/7.4/cli/php.ini file. Essentially the same issue, your PHP CLI settings are not matching your PHP Apache settings.

Re: Colorado, US - State Tax Calculation

Colorado no longer considers allowances in 2020, so if the employee has 0 or 10 allowances it would result in the same tax calculation. The Colorado State government has a Excel calculator on their website located here: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/sites/default/files/Income_Withholding_Workshee...

Re: Issue with Error Message and 2020

Yes, you have two installations of TimeTrex in two separate locations now, one from the .deb and one from the .zip file. You will need to decide which one you will continue with as the primary, disable the other one, then sync up the settings in the timetrex.ini.php files. As for the failed requirem...

Re: Issue with Error Message and 2020

The TimeTrex .deb file doesn't do anything with the network settings in the operating system, so something else was likely changed to cause that problem.

Re: Issue with Error Message and 2020

The web installer is simply accessible from a URL, its the same no matter how you installed TimeTrex (.ZIP, .DEB, etc...), and is the 2nd phase of the installation process (the 1st is getting the files on the server, by extracting the .deb/.zip) that must always be run. Its accessible with a URL sim...

Re: Issue with Error Message and 2020

The web installer can be accessed remotely from any other web browser without a problem, its designed to be run after you've extracted all the files from the .ZIP file. The main thing you want to do is get to the System Requirements step and confirm that everything passes, you don't need to go any f...

Re: Issue with Error Message and 2020

It appears that your php.ini for PHP CLI (command line) is substantially different than your PHP used by your web browser, as shown by this error: DBError(0) Message: postgres8 error: [0: Missing extension for postgres] in CONNECT That essentially means that when you run PHP from the command line it...

Has your server been turned off or had any changes made to it recently? You will want to start with checking your CRON log to ensure that the TimeTrex maintenance job script is in fact being executed properly every minute. If it is, then you would need to enable logging as per the following FAQ, the...

Re: Emailing Paystubs

Does TimeTrex still send emails about available paystubs? If so, which email in employee profiles do the emails get sent to? Are the email settings within timetrex.php.ini need to be setup or does smtp - timetrex@gmail.com work? Yes, emails are sent to the Work Email address in the employees profil...

If you edit then save one of your recurring schedules, without making any changes, does it correct the problem for you on future scheduled shifts?

Also do you have "system_timezone" specified in your timetrex.ini.php file at all?
