Re: Calculation details
I would argue SurePayroll is doing it "wrong", considering right in the IRS Publication 15 on Page 35 it explains: "Fractions-of-cents adjustment. If there is a small difference between total taxes after adjustments and nonrefundable credits (Form 941, line 12; Form 944, line 9) and total deposits (...

Re: Wrong hours
Likely a Meal or Break policy is being applied from either the Policy Group assigned to the employee or a Schedule Policy assigned to the specific schedule shift itself that is causing 1hr to be deducted from the day.

Re: PHP Deprecated and format PHP errors
TimeTrex has only supported 64-bit operating systems and stack components since 2017. Windows Server 2012 is also not supported. You can see the requirements here: https://forums.timetrex.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6 Additionally I recommend that you upgrade to TimeTrex v12.7.1 as it will help with som...

Re: Issues while creating night shifts
By default TimeTrex assigns the entire shift to the day it starts on, so that is why you see a 10:30PM punch on March 23rd beside the 9:15AM punch from March 24th. See "Assign Shifts To" setting for more information: https://help.timetrex.com/v12.0/community/Components/Pay-Period-Schedules.htm As fo...

Re: Surviving a disaster
Its recommended that you have a complete backup of the database (ie: SQL dump) and a full backup of the TimeTrex directory and any related directories specified in the timetrex.ini.php file. As long as you have all of that, a restore is pretty straight forward.

Re: Hourly Rate + Sunday schedule payment
The best method will depend on what the actual "rule" is that you are trying to accomodate, but in TimeTrex there are many ways to pay employees different rates, such as: 1. Schedule Policies can activate additional policies (ie: Regular Time Policy) for a specific shift. Based on that, different ra...

Re: NGINX Config Example
If you are getting the same error, its likely that you haven't corrected your timetrex.ini.php, which states "mariadb" for the database type and can only be "postgres" like the example file uses. Please note we have step-by-step instructions for standard installations of TimeTrex on Linux here: http...

Re: NGINX Config Example
A few things: 1. You should be trying to access "/interface/install/install.php" the first time you install TimeTrex. 2. MySQL database is not supported, you must use PostgreSQL instead. 3. I would recommend using the default timetrex.ini.php initially, going through the above installer will help yo...

If you want to pay an employee without them having to punch in/out, you can use Pay Stub Amendments, or Tax/Deductions instead.

Re: Weekly Pay
Your screenshot shows $0/hr, so there aren't any earnings to generate a pay stub for. So either that employees wage record is wrong, or you need to recalculate the timesheet so the wage takes effect retroactively. Regarding the piece rate/commission, there isn't a way to create custom units, but you...

Re: Weekly Pay
To pay employees a fixed salary, they still must have at least 1 minute of time recorded on their timesheet. To pay by pay sales (commission or piece work), there are multiple methods, one method is to simply enter a pay stub amendment (Payroll -> Pay Stub Amendments) for whatever amount you want to...

You're TimeTrex stack components are too old to upgrade in a single step. Try upgrading to v11.0.2 first with the below installer, then from there going to the latest v12.X:

Attendance -> Punches, click "New", then click the icon in the date field to open the date selection box, there you can select a range or any number of individual dates that you wish. Not quite as easy as just picking M-F, but slightly more flexible. If you are primarily interested in auto-punching ...
