Re: Over time after 8 hours

The situation you described is an advanced case and beyond what the Community Edition is designed for, or capable of handling. TimeTrex Corporate Edition with its Job Costing module is capable of handling your specific requirements though. In fact, we have customers in your exact industry using it a...

Re: getting a checksum error when trying to install

Are you unzipping the file on your local computer then uploading them too your server? If so, they are likely getting corrupted in the file transfer process. Try downloading the .ZIP file directly to your server and unzipping it there instead.

Re: Slow message processing

According to the log, TimeTrex is still attempting to send push notifications to the registered devices and since those are being blocked, they are causing slow downs. You will need to ensure you have disabled push notifications in the preferences of every employee to avoid this, as sending requests...

Re: Slow message processing

Logging isn't enabled on your system currently. If you go to Help -> About, click the more (three dot) icon at the top right, then click "Diagnostics: Enable", that will enable it, then replicate the slow operation then send the log again.

Re: Slow message processing

Notifications are real-time notifications sent to web-browsers and the mobile app. Not only do they allow for real-time notifications (such as when a message is received, a request is sent, an exception occurs, etc...) they also allow features like task queue handling and real-time data updates with...

Re: Slow message processing

You can find our privacy policy here: https://www.timetrex.com/terms In terms of notifications themselves, the information simply gets passed through our servers to the necessary notification services (ie: Google, Apple, Mozzila [Firefox]). This prevents the need for every installation of TimeTrex t...

Re: Question about premium pay

TimeTrex can do exactly what you require (even the majority of shift rule) however it is considered more advanced functionality and therefore is only available in the paid Professional Edition or higher. There is also additional complexities around overtime (ie: FLSA overtime averaging) that you wil...

Re: Slow message processing

Your TimeTrex is unable to communicate with the update/notification server at https://www.timetrex.com, so it eventually gives up after 15 seconds or so and continues. You should make sure your TimeTrex server is able to communicate freely with www.timetrex.com to avoid such issues.

Re: CSRF invalid token

Ya, the root problem is with cookies not working properly and not the CSRF functionality itself.

What URL do you use to access TimeTrex, and what is the 'hostname' setting under the [other] section in your timetrex.ini.php file set too?

Re: CSRF invalid token

That is usually caused by your web browser not saving cookies from TimeTrex.

You can set: "enable_csrf_validation = FALSE" to turn off CSRF validation at least to test, though its not recommended to leave off for security reasons.

You will need to restore it from your backup, or re-run the Windows installer (.EXE) for v15.3.3 of TimeTrex then.

It seems to replace the apache conf files to default, so my port settings and SSL stuff is all incorrect. After I replace those files, it seems to be fine. You can try connecting to "psql" without first using "su postgres", as that is closer to what TimeTrex is doing, and it should give you immediate feedback as to the error.

Re: Moving TimeTrex from one PC to another

Due to the differences of each Linux distribution and version of such, we do not have specific instructions on how to migrate TimeTrex from one server to another. We have those on Windows only when our specific installer is used, therefore the instructions are consistent across all Windows versions....

The exception emails also appear as notifications within TimeTrex too, so they would see them when they login even if they don't have email addresses.
