Unfortunately I'm not seeing anything useful in that log either... Are you running the installer while logged in as a Windows Administrator?

Could be a myriad of different reasons, but the first things to check is that your timetrex.ini.php has:

Code: Select all

production = TRUE
but does not have any of the following:

Code: Select all

deployment_on_demand = TRUE

Code: Select all

disable_auto_upgrade = TRUE

Unfortunately that is the windows installer log, not the TimeTrex log file from the c:\timetrex\log\ directory.

This issue should be fixed in v11.0.1 of TimeTrex, which can be downloaded from our website of course.

Please turn on logging as described near the bottom of this: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=89, then try again, and attach the log here.

Did v11.0.1 make any difference for you? Can you try sending us a screenshot of the errors from it please?

According to the screenshot, you are installing v11.0.0 of TimeTrex and v11.0.1 is the latest version. Also you didn't scroll to the bottom of the screen where the details of the error message are displayed, so unfortunately we still don't have anything to go on.

Please download v11.0.1 and try that just in case. If you still receive the same error, on the "System Check Acceptance" screen, please scroll down and send us a screenshot of the detailed error message that should be displayed at the bottom. FYI: MySQL support has been deprecated in v11.0 and will be removed in v11.1. All installations of TimeTrex will need to be migrated to the PostgreSQL database prior to upgrading to v11.1.

Have you tried a different web browser? Its possible that your web browser is sending the file with the wrong MIME type. If you enabling logging in the TimeTrex .ini file, and check your TimeTrex log, it will will say what the MIME type its receiving is, on a line that contains: "Incorrect mime_type...

When you say "inactive", do you mean that the Generate Pay Stub icon is displayed but grayed out? If so, that is not a permission issue, it simply means the icon can't be used until an existing pay stub is selected so TimeTrex has enough information to base the generating of pay stubs on. This would normally only ever happen if you have deleted or modified the "Total Gross" pay stub account. Not sure why this problem would have started after a v11 upgrade though... In order to investigate it further we would need you to email a compressed .SQL dump of your database to support@timetre...
