Re: TimeTrex not saving punches
Our company is also having the same issue.
Re: Loan
I don't think that is the case...I did a search for all amendments for the current period and there were none and I checked every Tax/Deduction and no other item points to the 401k Loan pay stub account. Are there any other possibilities?
Re: Loan
One more issue with this. The loan is now completely paid for and the employee was removed from the Employee Settings tab on the 401k Loan deduction, but it continues to show up on the check stub (example attached). Is there anyway to get it off the check stub?
Re: Loan
That seemed to do the trick...thank you.

Re: Loan
Okay, that makes sense, but when I tried this, then it took nothing out.
Re: Loan
The target amount specified was $3,609.78.
Loan
I have a 401k Loan setup that doesn't seem to stop when the target is reached. Can anyone see what I have done wrong with this setup? Below are the steps used to create... 1. Setup a Pay Stub Account as an Accrual 2. Setup a Pay Stub Account as an Employee Deduction pointing to the Accrual Pay Stub ...

Re: Test Environment
Thanks for the help. You were right, the timetrex.ini.php file had the wrong port number under the [database] host entry. This allowed me to get in, but then I was unable to log in because it said the password was invalid. I figured out I needed to copy the salt value from the live server timetrex.i...

Test Environment
I am trying to setup a test environment by installing Timetrex On-Site Community Edition onto a PC, then dropping the database and loading a dump from the live server, but I end up getting a Down for Maintenance error when I restart the Apache server. Any ideas what might be the issue? The full erro...

Wisconsin Taxes
There is a Wisconsin Tax update on April 1st 2014. Is there going to be a downloadable update or do I have to somehow manually modify the tax tables? I am using the Free On-Site Community Edition...version 7.2.1.

Modifying YTD Amounts
We just starting using Timetrex On-Site Community Edition this year going live on January 1st. For the first couple of processed pay periods we had US Federal Additional Income Tax going to it's own pay stub account. This then showed up separately from the standard US Federal Income Tax on the pay s...

New Tax Tables
How do I download version 7.2.1 with the new US tax tables? Everywhere I try I still get version 7.2.0.

Re: General Ledger Summary Export
Here is the top of the report. The only thing I need to reproduce the problem is add Default Department and Group By Default Department, although in this case I believe I also sorted by Default Department and removed all sub-totals.

Re: General Ledger Summary Export
That's because I extracted just the last 2 pages so I didn't have to change every name on the report (to protect their identities). I am at the absolute latest version right now though the problem was found at 7.0. I upgraded just today to see if it corrected the problem.

General Ledger Summary Export
I am having problems trying to export General Ledger data. Everything works as expected when I use the General Ledger Summary default options, but when I add "Default Department" to the list of fields and to the group by options I run into an issue. The odd thing is viewing the report in P...

Salary (Exempt) Employees
I have two questions for salary employees. 1. Our salary employees do not punch in or out and have varying schedules. It seems I can't process a payroll unless there is time sheet data from punches. I know that you can setup the system to auto-punch, but is there anyway to process a payroll for sala...

Re: 401k Calculation
As an update I have found that any deduction that I try to add as a percentage does not show up. If I add one as a fixed amount it works, but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong when I select a percentage. Anyone have an idea?
Thanks,
Jeremy

401k Calculation
I am just starting to evaluate Timetrex and have ran into a problem trying to setup a simple percentage deduction for 401k. Attached is a screen shot of the deduction setup screen. I have setup other deductions and they seem to work just fine, but the 401k deduction is not coming out when I generate...
