Re: v15 Constantly Reloading
In case it is useful to anyone else:
When I ran across this I found in the logs that timetrex was trying to use en_US, but I had only en_CA installed on my system. so I added en_US to my locales to fix the problem.

cannot process transactions during process payroll
Hi Gurus, My system recently upgraded to version 15. Very pretty, thank you for your hard work!! I have just done my first payroll processing since the upgrade, all went well up to the process transactions (step 8 of 9). Once I am here, I am presented with a popup box with the green check and red x....

Re: adjusting closed pay period
Ha! got it figured, effective date must be in the payperiod, not the payday itself.
Sorry for the noise.

Re: adjusting closed pay period
Hi, So far I have still not figured out the incantation required to make this work. I have tried recalculating time sheets, regenerating pay stubs, both in-cylce and out-of-cycle, and all with the edited pay period in post-adjustment and closed. If I go under payroll=>pay stub amendments, I can see ...

adjusting closed pay period
Hi Gurus, I have an employee who in the last pay period needed some days off because she was getting tested for Covid. She took 3 days, and I paid her one of those days. After the pay period had been closed, I found a Gov program for reimbursing sick leave, but in order to qualify, I have to have pa...
Re: DB Error
Huge thanks to the timetrex support team. pretty sure that setting was FALSE originally, but regardless the problem is resolved and my employees got paid today, so everybody is pretty happy around here. Beers are on us if you ever come this way, thank you so much
Re: DB Error
Hi Shaun, Thank you again for sticking with me on this, I have sent a video capture of what happens on my screen to the support address. For the sake of completeness, I did clear my cache, and tried firefox in safe mode, and can replicate the browser symptoms on other computers. Since you said you l...

Re: DB Error
Hi Shaun, I obtained a new copy of the software and tried the upgrade again, no joy. fwiw, I am running debian, but because I like to set my server environment up a bit off of the standard way, I am downloading the zip file: cd /usr/src wget https://www.timetrex.com/direct_download/TimeTrex_Communit...
Re: DB Error
oh, my bad, should have seen that, sorry... files are attached, and here is a diff of the file before I replaced everything with newly downloaded code: 165c165,166 < if ( isset($config_vars['other']['installer_enabled']) AND $config_vars['other']['installer_enabled'] == TRUE ) { --- > > if ( ( isset...

Re: DB Error
Hi Shaun, Thanks for checking on this, super appreciated. had to rename the file to upload it here, sure you will figure that part out. FWIW, I ran a diff on the file that existed before I replaced the system with a fresh download and it is the same. Is there a command I can run to do the db upgrade...

Hi, My community edition timetrex installation, according to the timetrex logs, did an unattended upgrade. Since then, I haven't been able to get logged in. my first thing to try was enabling the installer and re-running that, but at the database part (using postgres) I got a local cache error messa...
