Re: Community Edition pitfalls?
What about during tax time, child support payments or connecting my bank to TimeTrex? Can the open source solution provide these features? Any other issues I may have to deal with that TimeTrex cannot do for payroll? I would like a mostly automated process if I were to implement TimeTrex. I really d...

Community Edition pitfalls?
Hi, I've seen the FAQ about professional vs community at: https://forums.timetrex.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6970 However, I have a large number of employees but my margins are extremely slim due to the funding being a state program and compliance costs. Will there be issues processing a couple hun...

Ok Thanks!
Any other big no, no for me when testing out the platform?
Any undoable changes?
I may continue using my test install as production.

scheduling or accrual functionality
Hi,
I have employees who due to compliance reasons may only be able to work for so many hours within a specific span of dates unique to each employee. I need to keep track of the hours worked within a date span.
Is there any way to accomplish this in the community version?

Re: getting ver 11.4 of timetrex on centos 7
what third party packages are your referring to?
Should I be following similar to instructions in post:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7750
Or is there instructions somewhere else to install easily?
Thanks!

Re: TimeTrex API and Custom Punch Fields
Thanks Mike!
I'm trying to get a better understanding of the API.
But it's hard for me to manipulate the class inheritance diagram to see the different relationships.
Any advice of how I can understand the API and all the database fields I can manipulate through the api?

TimeTrex API and Custom Punch Fields
Hi,
I see the api manual and the example online.
I want to add punches to TimeTrex but I have created additional custom fields for Punches through TimeTrex's GUI.
Couldn't figure out how to get that data pushed along with punches to my TimeTrex instance.

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has customized Time Trex's main time sheet. I would like to use a new time sheet, converted as a web form, to replace current time sheet that exists in the application. There is compliance requirements for us to use a standardized time sheet. TimeTrex and Quickbooks - main benefits to use together
I am interested in TimeTrex. I was reading somewhere, can't remember, that it is beneficial to separate payroll from the accounting software. What exactly are the benefits of running both software together rather than running accounting and payroll completely in Quickbooks?
Thanks
