Re: Overtime calculation help

You would have two options then: 1. Round the punch time to their schedule (strict rounding), however keep in mind that TimeTrex still allows you to see the "Actual" non-rounded time for reporting purposes. 2. Use Premium Policies to calculate all pay, rather than regular time and overtime policies....

Re: Overtime calculation help

I see, due to the complexities of overtime policies, TimeTrex will only trigger overtime policies that increase the employees rate of pay, not decrease it. Since you are trying to use an overtime policy that decreases the employees rate of pay, TimeTrex is ignoring it. Its very unusual that you woul...

Can you please include a screenshot of the employees timesheet showing the overtime, after you click the "Show Wages" icon to the right of the date field.

Re: nginx reverse proxy fronting timetrex

While I can't speak to the NGINX setup itself, TimeTrex does need to be configured to function properly behind a reverse proxy, by setting the following in the timetrex.ini.php file: [other] proxy_ip_address_header_name = 'HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR' proxy_protocol_header_name = 'HTTP_X_FORWARDED_PROTO' I...

Re: lunch punch out is rounding

The rounding policy you specified looks correct, but it sounds like you may have other rounding policies setup that are being triggered as well if Lunch Out punches are still being rounded to 15mins. Please attach screenshots showing each of your rounding policy details so we can assist you further.

Re: testing payroll need to undo

You can undo pretty much everything, it just takes a bit of effort in some cases. If you are doing extensive testing you may want to plan on doing a fresh install and starting fresh once you are done.

Edit the Pay Period and set the status to "Post Adjustment", that allows you to do everything that you need to as if its "Open".

Re: testing payroll need to undo

No need to modify tables directly, nor is it recommended as you will certainly break things. You can undo anything you want from the user interface.

Instead please provide specifics as to what you are trying to do, and what error messages you are receiving.

If you are just looking for a report that shows that, it can easily be done from either the TimeSheet Summary or TimeSheet Detail reports, depending on the time frame that you require.

Re: getting ver 11.4 of timetrex on centos 7

PostgreSQL and PHP require 3rd party packages on CentOS 7 so they meet the minimum requirements in TimeTrex v11.5.x.

Re: getting ver 11.4 of timetrex on centos 7

TimeTrex v11.5.x can work on CentOS v7, just not out of the box since many of CentOS's packages are extremely out dated. By installing 3rd party packages you can get TimeTrex to work fairly easily though.

Based on the screenshot, your "base_url" should be just "/interface/", since "/timetrex" does not appear anywhere in your URL after the domain part.

I'm not seeing any "Regular Time" on the employees timesheet, under Policy -> Regular Time policy, do you have any defined there, and are they assigned to employees through the Policy Group?

Re: Warning: Critical Maintenance Jobs have not run in the last 48hours

You would need to enable logging as per the following FAQ, then next time the issue happens there would be detailed information in the log file if its related to TimeTrex that is.

Re: Warning: Critical Maintenance Jobs have not run in the last 48hours

If the error message you received was in fact: "Warning: Critical Maintenance Jobs have not run in the last 48hours", then it has nothing to do with marking pay stubs as paid or closing pay periods. My guess is that whatever the problem was that was the causing the original message resolved itself s...

What you are looking for is what TimeTrex refers to as "Open Shift Scheduling" and is only available in the paid editions. With the Community Edition recurring schedules can only be assigned directly to employees.

Re: Update the CentOS install instructions perhaps?

Thank you for your feedback. We will get a...

Re: Having issues setting up

Your regular time policy is set to use the OverTime pay formula policy for some reason, that is likely causing you the problems. That should be changed back to "- Defined By Pay Code -", then if you recalculate the employees timesheets their wages should start appearing.
