Re: Amendments from Past Pay Periods
If you generate a pay stub for the Pay Period starting 01-Jun-23 thru 14-Jun-23, then add a pay stub amendment for this employee in the same pay period, and don't tell TimeTrex to re-generate the pay stub again afterward, the pay stub amendment will not appear on any pay stub, and therefore will not...

Re: Employee does not have permission to login
Out-of-the-box every permission group allows login capability, so using "Regular Employee (Manual TimeSheet)" is not a solution to your problem. You may want to consider reverting back to the default permissions for each permission group, then copying those to make any customizations, that...

Re: Help generating pay stubs
If you manually create or modify pay periods, you need to be somewhat careful, as data is linked to pay periods directly at the time such data is created. So if you create them late, or modify their dates, you must perform additional actions to "sync" or "import" the data, or ris...

The paid Professional Edition of TimeTrex has punch importing and auto-punch schedules so salaried employees don't have to punch in/out at all.

Re: DB Error : PHP Fatal error: Uncaught ADODB_Exception: postgres9 error: [-1: ERROR: current transaction is aborted.
That error message is not the cause, but simply the result of another error happening before it. Its likely related to your database as well, either a connection problem, or permission problem preventing certain queries from being run. Please attach your entire TimeTrex log here. Might be helpful to...

Re: Pay period & Punch days / times are different
My guess is you have modified the pay period dates after the employees entered time on their timesheet. See the following FAQ for details on how to address this, the key is step #4 for importing data into a pay period: https://help.timetrex.com/v16.0/community/Frequently-Asked-Questions/FAQ-General....

Re: Regular Time Amount keeps changing depending on days in month
In Canada its proper to account for Statutory Holiday and paid Vacation separately, even for salaried employees, since this information needs to be broken out on the Record of Employment, among other things. As such, TimeTrex is configured by default to do things properly. If you wish to not have it...

Re: Regular Time Amount keeps changing depending on days in month
According to your annual salary, $3605.77 is the correct semi-monthly wage. We would need to see the timesheet and pay stub for the pay period before that to see why it calculated $3272.89, but if there was any absences entered on the timesheet, that is likely why it was reduced. As for removing the...

In the employee record, under the "Wage" tab, make sure you have specified an Annual or Monthly Salary wage, rather than hourly.

Re: Payroll Processing for First Time
Its possible the pay period was automatically closed, which happens if its more than a few days passed the pay period transaction date.
If there is no data in the pay period, no need to do anything to it, just move on to the next pay period.

Re: timetrex.ini.php Syntax Error Overnight
There isn't anything in TimeTrex itself that would add to your timetrex.ini.php file. If I had to guess, your server may have been comprised by a malware, infact it looks awfully like this could be the culprit, as it mentions the "9ge.ge" domain as a URL shortener: https://blog.sucuri.net/...

In the mean time, you may be able to use the work-around mentioned earlier. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and if you are happy with TimeTrex, help motivate ...

Re: 2X overtime triggered by start/end of workday rather than hours worked
I have escalated this issue our developers to investigate further. It does seem to be related to having multiple overlapping overtime policies combined with a non-paid lunch. In this case there are three overlapping policies: Weekly > 40 After 7 Consecutive Days After 7 Consecutive Days >8hrs If you...

API approach is definitely the one to take. If you provide us with the exact error message you are receiving, it would be helpful.
