Re: Super Administrator

You can just add the delete permissions to your existing "Administrator" permission group and remove them again once you are done deleting the necessary records. We don't recommend leaving delete permissions enabled permanently to help avoid accidents. If you try to create a "Super Ad...

Re: Down for Maintenance Message - What To Do?

I was trying to upgrade and I got the same error and screen as centaur5 so I went into the timetrex.ini.php changed the Installer to FALSE. Then Timetrex works for a while then INI file goes to maintenance mode = TRUE. Did you fully complete the web-based installer when you had "installer_enab...

Please provide more details as to the specific steps you are performing and what errors you receive. If you can start a new topic and include screenshots that would also be helpful.

Re: How to update to latest version

Assuming you are using Windows with the .exe installer, simply install the latest version in the same directory as your current TimeTrex installation and it will automatically detect that you want to perform an upgrade, inform you of such, and transfer over all your data for you.

I tried to install the new version and it will go to the maint page before I can install it.
In your timetrex.ini.php file, change "down_for_maintenance = FALSE", then try performing the upgrade.

Re: Down for maintence suddently after upgrade.

Its likely that your system does not meet the minimum requirements of both PHP or PostgreSQL as listed in the below link, therefore the upgrade is failing, or even your current installation is failing, which is putting the system into maintenance mode. https://forums.timetrex.com/viewtopic.php?t=6 Y...

Re: Down for maintence suddently after upgrade.

When TimeTrex can't perform critical functions or maintenance jobs and enters a failed state, it will put itself into "Down for Maintenance" mode to prevent further problems from occurring. So this is often a consequence of a larger problem. I would recommend upgrading to the latest versio...

Re: Down For Maintenance - every day

I would definitely recommend updating and seeing if the problem persists. When copying the database from one server to another, it can take a day or two for maintenance jobs to correct themselves if there was a prior error occurring, which appears to be the case here.

Just wondering, is there a specific reason you're still using a severely out-of-date and unsupported version of TimeTrex?

Re: an issue with accessing my TimeTrex account

Your login has been disabled, so you will need to contact someone else who can login (ie: a Manager or Administrator) to re-enable your login.

If you are that person, and no one else can login, then you've unfortunately managed to lock yourself out.

In your timetrex.ini.php file, there is a log directory specified. Inside that log directory should be a log file which you can attach here.
