Re: Down for maintence suddently after upgrade.
Its likely that your system does not meet the minimum requirements of both PHP or PostgreSQL as listed in the below link, therefore the upgrade is failing, or even your current installation is failing, which is putting the system into maintenance mode. https://forums.timetrex.com/viewtopic.php?t=6 Y...

Re: Down for maintence suddently after upgrade.
When TimeTrex can't perform critical functions or maintenance jobs and enters a failed state, it will put itself into "Down for Maintenance" mode to prevent further problems from occurring. So this is often a consequence of a larger problem. I would recommend upgrading to the latest versio...

Community Edition Discontinued
As of October 1, 2024, we will be discontinuing the Free Open Source Software (FOSS) On-Site Community Edition of TimeTrex Workforce Management. While the current version will continue to work, it will no longer receive updates or security patches. Over the following 30 days, ancillary services lik...

Re: Down For Maintenance - every day
I would definitely recommend updating and seeing if the problem persists. When copying the database from one server to another, it can take a day or two for maintenance jobs to correct themselves if there was a prior error occurring, which appears to be the case here.

Re: Down For Maintenance - every day
Just wondering, is there a specific reason you're still using a severely out-of-date and unsupported version of TimeTrex?

Re: an issue with accessing my TimeTrex account
Your login has been disabled, so you will need to contact someone else who can login (ie: a Manager or Administrator) to re-enable your login.
If you are that person, and no one else can login, then you've unfortunately managed to lock yourself out.

Whatever free calculator you are using is improperly using a ":" (colon) rather than "." (decimal) separator then. For a more detailed explanation, please see our Administrator Guide regarding the "Time Unit" preferences below. Specifically notice the time unit chart: h...

In your timetrex.ini.php file, there is a log directory specified. Inside that log directory should be a log file which you can attach here.

Re: Calculation is wrong
11:08AM to 7:12PM does equal 8 hours and 4 minutes (08:04), therefore everything is correct. Please note TimeTrex is not showing 8.04 (decimal separator), it is showing 08:04 (colon separator). You can change your preferred time unit format under My Account -> Preferences if you prefer decimal hours...

You install a fresh copy of TimeTrex v11.0 using PostgreSQL, the same version of TimeTrex you are using on MySQL in which you want to migrate.

Re: LDAP in CE
It's possible that something went wrong during the upgrade process, and your TimeTrex instance is stuck in an in-between version state. If that is the case, it would not be good, of course, as data corruption and seemingly random errors are likely to occur. Regardless, I can confirm that LDAP functi...

If something is highlighted in yellow, it would typically be a specific field on a form, which if you hover over it with your mouse it should show the warning message.
If that doesn't help, can you please attach a screenshot showing the issue?
