Re: Red Warning - Employee not assigned

Ah, I've just noticed that on the schedule the statutory holiday and vacation (paid) are in red. Does that mean I've added them incorrectly perhaps?

Re: Red Warning - Employee not assigned

Hi Mike, unfortunately I can't see what is triggering the warning to appear. I logged in this morning and hadn't had it for a while and it's appeared again. However, once I clicked the refresh button it disappeared (although the red lines appear to be still top and bottom as if the warning is still ...

Re: Red Warning - Employee not assigned

Ah, yes apologies, I should have listed these directly.

The version number is 11.3.1.

OS is MS Windows Server 2012 R2.

It was installed using the executable.

thanks again,
Phil

Red Warning - Employee not assigned

Hi, I'm having an issue with the red warning bars. I initially had this error (possibly after modifying a hierarchy, but I can't be sure that's the root cause): employeenotassigned.png After viewing it has disappeared, but I still get red bars top and bottom: employeenotassigned2.png I've tried impo...

Re: Pending Requests issue

Haha, you beat me to it Mike!

I just realised it was because I had set someone else higher up as a supervisor.

In that case, do both people have to authorise requests or just the highest level?

thanks,
Phil

Pending Requests issue

Hi, I'm having an issue with Requests that I hope you can help me with. I've had a couple of requests, authorised them, but then found that they are still showing up as pending. pending01.png this shows 2 pending requests. When I click it I get the following show that there are no pending requests (...

Re: Adding to Timebank when on Vacation

Spot on. Brilliant thanks! I'm entirely sure of the purpose of adding absences on the timesheet is. Is there any way to just prevent adding absences onto the main timesheet altogether? I'd like it so that the user Regular Employee (Punch In/Out) has to request absence - which is currently working st...

Re: Adding to Timebank when on Vacation

Mike, you are a genius :) thank you very much! That is much simpler and works like a dream. There is only one remaining issue that I can see and that is when I add vacation time. Overtime is currently being added correctly for weekends and statutory leave (I have added easter friday and this works p...

Re: Adding to Timebank when on Vacation

Hi Mike, basically what'd I'd like to achieve is to have, for example: mon-fri 7.5hours per day assigned to an employee. Then if they work over that on a given day they accrue to the timebank, if they work under then they lose from the timebank. It doesn't matter when they arrive or leave as long as...

Re: Adding to Timebank when on Vacation

Hi Mike, in this example I've set up a repeating schedule for that staff member, but for that week they have taken annual leave, so I've set it as vacation. Shouldn't the vacation override the scheduled shift? I'm not concerned if employees match specific shift times in terms of clocking in and out....

Re: Apply shifts retrospectively?

I've put it back to the way it was and it was and tried recalculating. It still has deposited any time worked in the time bank, so it's as if the expected hours for shifts in the past aren't applied. I'm not sure what's going on really.

Any help would be much appreciated!

thanks,
Phil

Re: Apply shifts retrospectively?

This is a test instance, so I'm not too worried about breaking it, but I've changed the policies slightly and it isn't working for regular pattern shift staff now. I added all overtime shift polices to the hourly employees Policy Group. I then tried creating a shift policy and excluding the ones I d...

Re: Apply shifts retrospectively?

Also, for irregular shifts (i.e. here it's shorter days on Tuesday and Wednesday for Rebecca), is it best practice to have a new Policy Group for this, or to use the hourly employees Policy Group and then apply overtime policies as inclusions and exclusions from this?

thanks once again!

Re: Apply shifts retrospectively?

Hmmmmm. I've set the shift to 'worked' and it shows as black in the schedule, but it hasn't changed the over/undertime calculations at all. ReCalculate TimeSheet doesn't seem to fix that either. Are the under/overtime calculations not performed straight away when ReCalculate TimeSheet is performed? ...

Ah, I think I've worked this out. If I select a load of shifts and mass edit, then I can set 'worked'.

I think it would be useful for a users with the 'Regular Employee (Punch In/Out)' permission to be able to see if their colleague was in or not.

Who's in/out

Is it possible to give permissions to all users to see a full list of staff on the Who's in/out dashlet without giving them access to view everyone else's timesheets?

Apply shifts retrospectively?

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to apply shifts (and the associated calculations) retrospectively. I've applied a few shifts to staff members, but it looks like the calculations only apply after the day I've created them (not from the date the shift pattern was created to start at). So if I c...

Re: Adding to Timebank when on Vacation

Say that it's not quite correct :) I've created an Overtime Policy which has pay code - timebank that's active after 00:00, but I'm still getting Time Bank (Withdrawal). timebank_vacation_1.png Should I be excluding something from my Schedule Policy for Undertime? timebank_vacation_1.png thanks once...
