Re: Adding a new default column to views

Hi Mike,

that's really useful, thanks.

Is there a way to push that globally to all users?

thanks,
Phil

Adding a new default column to views

Hi, I wondered if there was a way to add a new default column to lots of the views? For example accrual balances, or Who's In/Out? We have two people with the same name, but are in different departments and it'd be really good to be able to add the Department column in as a default alongside things ...

Re: Slow message processing

Thank you. Can this be done from the administrator account? Or does each user need to do this individually?

Re: Slow message processing

I have turned off the notifications other than email, but still appear to be getting a delay: ttnotifications.PNG timetrex.log does this still look like it's having issues contacting timetrex.com? should it be if I've sent the notification preferences? or are the notification preferences user specif...

Re: Slow message processing

Thanks for that. Is it a particular part of the notification that needs to go to timetrex.com? I was under the impression that I'd set up email notifications to relay via our location exchange server: [mail] ; Least setup, deliver email through TimeTrex's email relay via SOAP (HTTP port 80/443) ; De...

Re: Slow message processing

Thanks for this. Do you have a privacy policy that states exactly what information is being passed to timetrex.com? I was under the impression that if we hosted it locally that no information would need to be passed out of the network.

Slow message processing

Hi,

when sending requests it sits on Processing for a long time.

I have attached the logfile. Do you need anything else?

thanks,
Phil

LDAP server multiple options?

Hi,

we have more than one domain controller. Will it work if I put a comma separated list of servers in the LDAP server option please?

Re: Adding department to old shifts

Is there any issue with having scheduled shifts assigned to a department and punched times not assigned to the same department?
thanks.

Actually I think I do this by selecting all old shifts and setting the department to default.

Adding department to old shifts

Hi,

I've added a department to an employee, but it doesn't add all their past shifts to that department. Is it possible to reassign all old shifts for that employee to the same department, or do I need to do that manually?

thanks,
Phil

Thanks for all your help.

Unfortunately our hospital wouldn't allow a remote connection.

I don't really understand what you mean that i haven't fully described the requirements and they haven't changed from my initial description.

Re: calculating auto time in lieu with autodeducted lunch

Any ideas why this might be? I can't see that it's taking 2 lots of lunch off the monday, but may it is. Either that or it's adding 30mins on to the shift for some reason?

I can't see why it would do this on the Monday and not other days.

Re: calculating auto time in lieu with autodeducted lunch

Thanks Shaun, I think I tried this, but I couldn't get it to deduct properly. If the employee was in the hourly employee policy group then lunch wouldn't get automatically deducted if they worked on a non-shift day, but I couldn't get the auto-deduction of the lunch to work on a shift policy only. ...

Re: calculating auto time in lieu with autodeducted lunch

Is there no way to not subtract the lunch period from additional work then?

There is no shift applied on a saturday because she isn't due to work. It's just extra time.

thanks,
Phil

Re: calculating auto time in lieu with autodeducted lunch

Hi Shane, I'm not sure if that's what I want. There shouldn't be a shift applied on a saturday. The employee isn't scheduled to work on that day, but they have chosen to and so I need to add their work to the accrued time bank. I guess it's not possible to create a 0 length shift? It appears that on...

yes, any days where there are no scheduled hours specified then all the time should be banked.

I think the other issues are fixed.

Re: calculating auto time in lieu with autodeducted lunch

Brilliant that's working! Thank you very much for your help! It looks like I still have 2 issues though. Firstly, when she's worked on the weekends (and there is no shift assigned, she's just done additional work) then it's still taken a 30min lunch. Ideally, when there is no shift assign any time w...
