I was actually generating pay stubs for the month when I had to add a new person and thus the discovery of the error. The other employee's pay stubs generated okay. Could it...

Hi. I edited that file and found only TWO occurrences of '$ . I deleted them and put another symbol but the dollar sign is still appearing on the pay stubs. I put the = sign and even the British POUND sign but still the $ sign kept showing. I deleted the symbol completely and left only a space (blan...

Sign: Dollar $
Hi.
How do I get rid of the $ sign in my reports? This is under Net Pay at the bottom of the payslip.
I am so praying its not a locale configuration thing coz I've had my share of problems with them.

Congratulations. I noticed that you'd released V2.1.1 five days ago. I downloaded it and installed it. It just so happened that at the same time I decided to test Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy) server. So I installed my Gutsy and then my Timetrex. And out of the box without any extra configuration, the decimal...

Thanks for that reference. But even before I tried that -which I will look into later-, I did some do or die Googling and I came across this: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=75493 I executed this step: If you're having this problem on dapper/edgy, you may have to regen the locales using &qu...

Edit punches
Hi. I did a mass punch for several employees and then realized I'd made a mistake. I'd punched for 3 months! I've tried editing this punches but there is no straight forward way. Am logged in as the administrator. When I go to employees timesheets, the most I can do is edit One punch at a time. Mean...

Wrong Date Selection tool
Hi. Been having a peculiar problem with timetrex's date selection tool. My date format is set to : (dd-mmm-yy) . However, when I select a date from the date selection tool e.g. 1st July 2007, The date that is inserted is: 01-39-07 . When I then click on the date tool again, the selected date is 7th ...

What is actually timing out? Mass punching times out. It doesn't complete. This I can tell by the mass punch progress bar. It shows punches being made and then it halts somewhere in the middle. I've checked apache2/error.log and this is what I see [Wed Sep 26 11:14:45 2007] [error] [client 172.16.1...

Timetrex & decimal places
Hi, I had asked how to enable decimal places in my pay stubs and this is what you had said. (it was in an unrelated thread so I thought I bring it here to make it easy to find) Not seeing decimal places on the pay stubs is caused by your locale number format settings, usually in your operating syste...

Mass Punch timeout
Hi. I've been trying to add mass punches but am having issues. When I import employees and do the first mass punch, (Normal-IN), all goes well, however, for the next punch, (Lunch-Out), the process terminates/times-out at 63%. Thought it was a browser issue so I changed went from Firefox to IE but t...

Hi. Its me again. I feel like a bother now. I went to my old version of Timetrex, did a backup of the files and also of the database. I then followed the installation instructions and it showed that it had upgraded successfully. From there, I COULD generate a pay stub. I then did a New installation ...

Tomorrow I'll try to import that same dump and see how it goes. Its midnight here. I understand your reason for having the pay date after all data has been collected. But what happens to the first month that one works? You won't be paid till you've worked for almost two months? Thought the transacti...
