Re: Manual install with DB connect test errors

I would like to thank you for your help so far.... I have gone through everything with a fine tooth comb, and it seems I have found the solution: I'm just going to stick with the automated install since it seems to work so well. I figure it is easier to map port 80 on the router to port 8085 o...

Re: Manual install with DB connect test errors

I did notice one thing, according to the FAQ, when I create my db and user I run the following [root@timetrex ~]# su postgres [postgres@timetrex root]$ but when I run "su postgres" it tells me "could not change directory to "/root"" I respond with "su - postgres&qu...

Re: New Install - Maintenance Job Error

It doesnt look like you are saving those lines in crontab, rather it seems you are pasting them directly in terminal... You are missing a step. run the following command, and in the editor, you have to insert the line as you were trying to do in terminal. Log in as root and type the following: cront...

Manual install with DB connect test errors

Hello... I am running CentOS 5 with apache v2.2.15 , posgresql v8.4.7, php v5.3.2. I am attempting a manual install of TimeTrex 3.6.1. I have unzipped the files to the desired directory (in this case /var/www/html/timetrex), created the postgresql user/database as demonstrated here , and was able to...

Re: Change port from 8085 to 80

With that in mind, would it be possible to keep the existing installation, change the port, then do manual updates? Or did using the automated installer commit me to using automated installers for future updates?

Change port from 8085 to 80

Is it possible to change the port for TimeTrex from port 8085 to port 80? If so, could someone point me in the general direction of what I have to change in order to make this happen?\

btw - Running on CentOS 6

Cannot set php limit higher than 40M

I am subscribed to a hosting service through HostGator.com.

Unfortunately I cannot change the php limit higher than 40. Is there any way to workaround this issue?

Still the output of the "select * from cron;" command is the same.

When I run the command manually from command prompt, it drops to a fresh prompt without any errors, but still the result is the same.

"php-win.exe C:\Program Files\TimeTrex\timetrex\classes\modules\core\..\..\..\maint\cron.php" That command actually seems to point to the wrong directory. "C:\Program Files\TimeTrex\php\php-win.exe" C:\Program Files\TimeTrex\timetrex\maint\cron.php That was the right directory, ...

For Dummies...

WARNING: TimeTrex maintenance jobs have not run in the last

I get this error when I start TimeTrex. When I check the "timetrex_cron_last_executed.log" file, it appears current and is updated every minute. When I ran setup I was not given the option to schedule maintenance jobs, and when I saw this error I looked on the forumjs and saw that I needed...

Multiple Job Titles

In my organization, some of our employees have multiple titles; i.e. Shift Supervisor / Scheduling Coordinator. It would be really handy to have more than one title available for each employee. Then when you assign an employee to a shift schedule, you can choose which title/capacity they will be wor...

One question though, how do I restore that *.sql file?

How did you install TimeTrex? If you used the installer, there should be a backup_timetrex.bat file in the TimeTrex directory that you can just run. Failing that, try this command instead: pg_dump -h localhost -p 5433 -U timetrex -W timetrex > output.sql I did use the windows installer, however I d...

What I mean is: I type in: "pg_dumpall -h localhost -p 5433 -U timetrex -W > output.txt" When it prompts for the password, I enter the password as found in the timetrex.ini.php file. It then returns the following: C:\Program Files\TimeTrex\postgresql\bin>pg_dumpall -h localhost -p 5433 -U ...
