Re: Error upgrading to 7.2 from 7.1.3
We were at 7.0.0, the upgrade to 7.1 -> 7.1.2 ->7.1.3 worked fine, it hangs up every time we attempt to go to 7.2.0. I restored back to 7.1.3 (we do nightly DB backups) and its working fine now... odd that it only throws the error going to 7.2. we downloaded a fresh 7.2.0 ZIP from Sourceforge and tr...

Help with new reports / time format
We were wondering if there is a report that lists total by department, similar to below: Name | Dept1 | Dept2 | Dept3 | Total --------------------------------------- Dan |155.50 | 4.50 | 9.00 | 169.00 --------------------------------------- Jake |24.00 | 9.00 | 5.97 | 38.97 -------------------------...

Error upgrading to 7.2 from 7.1.3
hello, I am trying to upgrade to the latest 7.2 release of Timetrex Community edition. Everything goes fine until it attempts the database upgrade, wich freezes at 98%. I turned on debug mode, nothing special revealed: Debug Buffer ====================================================================...

Re: TimeTrex system requirement check has failed! Wont go aw
alright, understood... I checked over the timetrex.ini.php and the log level is set to 10. I re-named the huge file to timetrex.log.backup and let tt regenerate it (less to search thru). I did manually run the MiscWeekly.php and got this: localadmin@appserver:/var/timetrex/maint$ sudo php MiscWeekly...

Re: TimeTrex system requirement check has failed! Wont go aw
Sorry for taking so long to get back.... I checked the timetrex.ini.php and logging is enabled, however it is just a (huge) file with lines such as: ---------------[ 04-Jun-2013 8:57:01 -0400 (PID: 31373) ]--------------- over and over again. What should the logging level be at to see the messages y...

TimeTrex system requirement check has failed! Wont go away
We have had Timetrex installed for a couple years and it's been trouble free. Starting with version 5.3.0 we started getting the red System Requirement error. I upgraded to 5.3.3 when it came out hoping to fix the problem, and again to Community Edition 7.0. Still getting it. All maintenance tasks a...

Re: Changing departments without punching out first - glitch
OK, that makes sense - is there any way to dissalow them to switch without using the Transfer? I want to eliminate the possibility of this happening again.

Changing departments without punching out first - glitch?
hey there, We are experiencing an issue with Timetrex where some employees are punching in to a new department without punching out of the old one. This is leading to some incorrect timesheets. Is something that can be changed in an option somewhere? It seems like if you punch in to a different depa...

Re: 500 server error on reports
Not a problem. Thank you for being so helpful with this. We really do appreciate all the help you provide. The person who got the error is not in today, I sent them an Email to get the specifics of what they were doing. I will do the debug thing and post any errors once I hear back from the payroll ...

Re: 500 server error on reports
nope, I looked thru the entire error log and was no mention of any PHP errors. Timetrex did send me an email with a bunch of diagnostic information. Is there somewhere I should be forwarding that to to help with the beta test?

500 server error on reports
hey, We've been using the new interface for a while now and it is great. I am running into issues with the reports. On certain reports, it processes the DB and then gives a 500 internal server error. The timetrex log files do not show anything when this happens. Any idea where to look and get an ide...

Re: Time worked VS time scheduled report
v5.0.4 will just be the initial release for it, but we are working on a video tutorial to walk you through the process, but its pretty easy and only takes a couple minutes. If you are a Business or Professional Edition customer already, you can email support@timetrex.com once v5.0.4 is released and...

"You have new mail" on sign in when there are no new message
Hey,
We recently started to have a problem with TimeTrex where a box pops up and says " You have new mail, would you like to read it now?" For all users. We do use the mail feature but nobody has any messages when they click OK. Any idea how to reset this?

Re: Time worked VS time scheduled report
Just an update, v5.0.4 of TimeTrex Business and Professional Editions will contain a remote datasource connector for Crystal Reports and the free alternative Jasper Reports, allowing you to securely and easily create customized reports however you like. Since this connector does all the heavy lifti...

Re: Time worked VS time scheduled report

Re: Time worked VS time scheduled report
You can show default branch/departments If i understand correctly, default departments are what the employee is assigned to - not nessicarily the department they punch in against. Example: I have a biologist that is going out to do a presentation at a school, then will do some database work, then s...

Re: Time worked VS time scheduled report
Yes, that would be perfect if it allowed you to select the departments... There is no listing for them in the column selection boxes.Have you tried the TimeSheet Summary report?
There is also no way to show scheduled time minus paid time in the report.

Time worked VS time scheduled report
I am having the hardest time trying to create a report that shows scheduled time VS actual time worked per department. The end goal is to run a report grouped by employee and see where they spent their hours during the pay period. Any ideas? Also - Is there any where that lists the definitions for a...
