Is there anything new on the Expense Report Module?
If I can be of any help with the logic, let me know. I do have a background in DCAA compliance and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).

Upload externally generated paystubs
Request the ability to override the system generated paystubs. We generate them through Quickbooks, and I would like to be able to upload them to TimeTrex so the employees can retrieve them from there.

Control of menu items
Request the ability to manual control the display of menu items via the administrator login.
There are some items that we will not use, such as paystubs and possibly accruals. I would like to be able to turn off those items so employees don;t see them.

Understanding Vacation and Holiday Policies
I am having a hard time understanding how vacation and holidays work. The way I understand it is: Vacation: If you have an absence policy, and an employee does not clock in, the absence policy is going to execute, and deduct time from whichever accrual policy is specified in the applicable absence p...

Would the mileage module optionally feed into the expense module? I don't want to beat a dead horse but...whilst TimeTrex tracks time, you wouldn't have a means to track partial days traveling. If I worked on job A for 4 hours (leaving at noon) then drove to job B, I would only rate 50% of the per d...

Overtime Policy not showing up in Schedule Policy
The overtime policy is not showing up in the drop down for the schedule policy. I tried this on my installation and the demo, after dumping the cache.

Allow mileage to be automatically multiplied out. The amount per mile would be tied to either a TimeTrex updated table (sent out like tax updates) or an admin modified value. The IRS establishes the amount per mile for federal contracts, most everyone else (in the US) follows suit. Expense reports s...

Expense Report Module
An expense report module would be very nice. Expense reports could use a lot of the information that is already there, including employees and jobs. The ability to scan in receipts, or at least attach pdf's of receipts to these expense reports would be a nice addition. The expense reports could then...

Email Reminders/DCAA Compliance
A nice addition would be email reminders when an employee has not filled in their timesheet. In other words, have a selectable reminder field, and a cron that runs saying anyone who has not completed their timesheet for the previous day gets an email reminder (also provide the option to copy the pay...

The php-gettext was hell on windows. I resorted to the windows installer which made it work fine.
On my Linux box, the default php package already had gettext on it.
You might try going here:

The ini file reads installer_enabled=false. Is this the correct setting after install? If so, is there something else I can check to see if it is in fact a broken AJAX issue (is something else tied to AJAX that shouldn't be working)? Finally, is there a way to fix it without blowing out the DB? I do...

Empty Province/State Table
For some reason, the province/state table has become empty. The zip version installed fine, and I was able to create a company (which means the province/state table WAS populated), but now the table is empty. Would you tell me where the script is to recreate that particular table? Here are the resul...

Templates_C not showing up? FYI
Oddly enough, on my machine (Centos) when I download any of the zip files and extract them using file roller (2.16.0) there are files that do not appear. This is a problem with file roller and not the zip file. If I download and extract them in windows, the template_c is there. I don't know if there...

Update
I have done a clean install of Centos, prior to installing Timetrex I have tested the sendmail (mail()) function. It is working correctly without TimeTrex installed. It appears that there is an error with the compiling of PHP in TimeTrex.

Mail function not working with Linux/php
The mail function is not working on my installation. The error that comes up is: Call to undefined function mail(). From Google I have been able to determine that this is an error from when PHP was compiled. Being as I used the installer, I am wondering if it is possible that when PHP was compiled f...

Resolved - For the most part
I was having a conflict, but it was not with PostgreSql, it was an Apache conflict. I had Apache (httpd) set to automatically start. This, apparently, started all of the PID at the wrong time (in relation to other processes). If I stop the httpd from automatically starting, and DO NOT start it speci...

Thank you for your reply Shaun. I tried as you suggested, Stop then Uninstall. When I stopped, I get httpd (no PID file) not running. If I try and start again I get the same error as above. When I uninstall, delete the directory, reboot, and reinstall, it works fine!! Then I put the company informat...
