Going from answers to similar threads it seems we can not enter Bank Institution name into system or am i missing something here?

Can we use Routing number to enter Bank Name( by converting it to alphanumeric field) as i am not sure how much relevant it is to non-usa companies(i may be wrong here).

We use three component GL codes, for expample 2645-5412-MI. Stub account field is not able to accomodate more then 10 characters. If its more then 10 it complains - Invalid GL account.
