Maintenance warning
Here I go again: I have the latest version installed, and find this warning emblazoned across the top of Timetrex: WARNING: TimeTrex maintenance jobs have not run in the last 48hours. Please contact your TimeTrex administrator immediately. If that refers to the cron job that should run (cron.php), I...

Sorry I've now strayed off-topic but, relating to punch problems, here's a snippet from my syslog: [client 192.168.100.53] PHP Fatal error: Class 'JobListFactory' not found in /var/www/html/timetrex/classes/modules/punch/PunchControlFactory.class.php on line 270, referer: http://192.168.100.12/timet...

I (not the admin, but me as an employee) reset my Permission Preset to Supervisor and could log in. I then reset my permission again as Regular Employee, and could log in. Can really figure that out, but it worked. Now, the problem is my punch won't work. The punch pop-up appears, but when I punch i...

Greetz, mikeb. Yes, after fiddling for a while, I realized that I should define the periods as Jul 31-August 12 and August 13-August 26, or something like that. Another way of putting it, I think, is that my periods run from Sunday to the Saturday two weeks later. Anyway, I seem to have taken care o...

Permissions issue
Yeesh, I feel like such a luser. I created myself in timetrex, but am unable to log in (timetrex says, "Permission DENIED!"). I assigned myself the "Regular Employee" permission preset, but when I when I hit the submit button, nothing seems to happen. What now?

Pay period schedule set woes
Hello to all, especially mikeb! I installed v. 1.2 from scratch (previously ran last beta, but upgrade didn't work for me, so ... Probably should have asked for upgrade help but, well, didn't). All went fine, but now a previous bugaboo for me, setting up a Pay Period Schedule, is again giving me fit...

Email notification
It would be very useful if Timetrex would email punch in and punch out reminders to employees after a specified period of time (say, if the workday starts at 8:00 AM, a punch in reminder would be sent at 9:00 AM, etc.). Of course, no reminder would be sent if an employee has scheduled vacation time....

Punch in posts to previous day
I've got standard edition installed and configured on a CentOS 4.3 box. This morning I punched in, but My Timesheet showed the punch-in under yesterday's date, rather than today's. Bug?

Unfortunately, that didn't work. The required information sticks when entered via Edit Employee, except for the password and password confirm fields, which are returned empty, and the state field, which always default to Alabama (I'm not even remotely close to there :-) ). I'm still unable to naviga...

Stuck on admin set-up page
Hi, Folks. So, I'm now past the intsallation issues. That's the good news. When I login as the Timetrex admin, I'm taken to the Edit Employee page. I add the required information (denoted with a red asterisk), but when I hit the submit button, I'm brought back to this page. When I try to navigate to...

[SOLVED]
Hello to all. With mikeb's patience and help, I at least got past all of the system requirement issues that prevented me from completing the Timetrex install process. I'd like to share what I learned. The following applies to RHEL AS 4/CentOS4.3: 1. I obtained and installed missing module rpms for p...

Ok, more progress. I was able to install Pear HTML_Progress (after intsalling php-gd), Pear HTTP_Download, and Pear HTML_Ajax-alpha. BTW, for CentOS 4 installations using the stock php-5.0.4, a good source of php-related rpms is http://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/centos/4.3/centosplus/i386/RPMS/. However, in...

The following are installed on my system: [dyioulos@danvers ~]$ rpm -q php php-5.0.4-4.centos4 [dyioulos@danvers ~]$ rpm -q php-pgsql php-pgsql-5.0.4-4.centos4 So, the installed php-pgsql version is, indeed, the one for the installed php version. Good morning, folks. I hate to start out my day this way, but I've reached a high frustration level in my attempts to install Timetrex. Trying to find the components required by the program has been a genuine pita. By way of constructive criticism to the developers (please bear in mind that I'm grat...
