Re: Mass Punch of weekdays in CV 12.6.5
Looks like this is happening in this file: /usr/share/timetrex/html/interface/html5/views/attendance/punches/PunchesViewController.js Is that correct? Is this where to do additional parsing of the dates to check the day of week before adding them to the list? parserDatesRange( date ) { var dates = d...

Re: Mass Punch of weekdays in CV 12.6.5
Still hoping for a little help. Where in the installation can I find the code to creates this page and submits the data of what punches to add? URL: localhost/timetrex/interface/html5/?desktop=1#!m=TimeSheet&user_id=05bb247f-e465-479a-b963-692f581b6f47&show_wage=0&mode=punch&a=new&am...

Re: Mass Punch of weekdays in CV 12.6.5
Can you point me to where I can access the code that generates and deals with the screen to enter a date range and individual date entry? I'd like to try to modify it by adding a button that filters weekdays.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Mass Punch of weekdays in CV 12.6.5
I just installed a new version after using a *much* older version and there used to be a Mass Punch function where you could select 1 or more people and give them an in-punch at a particular time for a range of dates. The old version has the option to do weekdays only by selecting which of the 7 day...

timetrex versions question
Hi! We've been running TimeTrex v3.0.4 on an old PC running Linux as our in-office time punch program for many years and it still runs well with no serious errors! Since it isn't accessible from outside our LAN, we haven't had any security problems. We are thinking of replacing the old Linux box wit...

Re: Mac and Safari issue with Verify button
It doesn't seem to be quite that simple. Here is what it says for each month: Verification Andrew 01-Oct-09 4:23 AM Verified ----- Pay Period: 01-Oct-09 to 31-Oct-09 Andrew Papp 29-Jan-10 10:46 PM PENDING AUTHORIZATION ------- Pay Period: 01-Nov-09 to 30-Nov-09 Previous Pay Period requires verificat...

Re: Mac and Safari issue with Verify button
But it seems a bit sloppy, because then the admin has to look at messages about his own lack of being verified or authorization-pending status. Allowing him to self-authorize provides a way for the admin to know that the system is working correctly for everyone else. My suggestion, especially if it ...

Re: Mac and Safari issue with Verify button
PPS: I looked at: http://www.timetrex.com/wiki/index.php/TimeTrex_Administrator_Guide#Hierarchy by selecting Administrator Guide from the Help menu, but it didn't address my question, above. I searched for forums for the word hierarchy, and the closest thing I came up with was: http://forums.timetre...

Re: Mac and Safari issue with Verify button
Ok, I set up a hierarchy and was able to authorize the timesheets of my "subordinates". But, I was not allowed to be my own subordinate, so I am not presented with my own authroization requests. Is there a straightforward way for the system administrator to authorize his own timesheets? It...

Re: Mac and Safari issue with Verify button
OK, those setting worked fine and the Verify button appeared. Now, those periods say " PENDING AUTHORIZATION". I have not seen this before. Is it a new feature? I then went to the Admin menu, under "Authorization" hoping to see some entries I could authorize, but it shows: Pendin...

Re: When to upgrade? Release notes?
OK, that is helpful. Based on what I see, I don't need to upgrade from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 for use on a linux server. A little more info would be good... the entries there talk about features, but not about critical bug fixes (maybe there never have been any?). Anyway, there should be a place that discus...

Re: Mac and Safari issue with Verify button
I went to Admin -> Payroll -> Pay Period Schedules, Edit. The only available things for TimeSheet Verification were: Before Pay Period End Date and Before Pay Period Transaction Date I set them each to 400, but no verification buttons appeared. If seems like what we need should be "after" ...

When to upgrade? Release notes?
Do you guys post some kind of release notes when you come out with a new version? For example, I upgraded to 3.0.4 earlier this month, and I see (from the little red flag on the Help Menu) that a new versions exists. So, I ask myself what is new about it, and do I really care enough to upgrade? Is t...

Re: Mac and Safari issue with Verify button
I am not seeing a verify button, but I sometimes do, on my mac. I think it's a different problem, and perhaps you can help. We had timetrex 2.2.8 and last november new pay periods stopped being created. We upgraded to 3.0.4 in january, and within a few days the system automatically caught up and cre...

Re: Total Hours include previous months... Pay Period = None
The November 2009 Pay Period magically created itself correctly last night. Does it do this magic once per night? If so, It may catch up to January 2010 over the weekend... Thanks for the link. I will try that if it doesn't fix the other pay periods on its own. Also, for whatever reason, the respons...

Total Hours include previous months... Pay Period = None
Hi, This post relates to forum post http://forums.timetrex.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=669 but that post seemed a bit different, more complicated, and didn't provide me with an answer, so I'll start a new topic... We were using TimeTrex 2.2.8 successfully from May 2008 through October 2009. Novermer...

Re: V2.2.8 --> V3.0.4 stuck in limbo
Ok, thank you Shaun, I have made some progress. As suggested, I uninstalled 2.2.8. That worked fine, with the only error being that the Stop command at the end failed. I restarted the computer, and was able to successfully install 3.0.4 using the installer.bin script with no errors. I stoppped at th...

V2.2.8 --> V3.0.4 stuck in limbo
Over a year ago, I installed TimeTrex 2.2.8 Standard Edition on Fedora Core 8 and it worked flawlessly and I was always impressed by the knowledgable online and telephone support for my few questions. It did run awfully slowly, but it was on a crappy old linux machine, so I'll save the speed problem...

large size of debug log file timetrex.log - turning it off
We noticed that the file ~/Timetrex/log/timetrex.log was getting huge, with many DEBUG lines added per punch. Since things are working ok, we didn't want the disk space used up as the log grew. Tech Support explained how to turn off the logging: Edit the file ~/Timetrex/timetrex/timetrex.ini.php Mak...
