Install a fresh new everything with latest versions
still get 1 hour off with my timezone but when change to GMT -2 (which is not my timezone) the time is correct.

any suggestions?

thats weird
after running
set session time_zone="Etc/GMT+2";
select now();
I get 4 hours difference from the real time
when I set to GMT-2 i get the real time although its not my timezone
in any case
when clocking in/out i still get 1 our later

I have used gmt+2 gmt+4 gmt-2 gmt-10
none of them had any effect.
the version is 1.4.3

I have downloaded the latest timezone tables
didnt help
It seems that when I change the time zone in a user prefs it does not change the clock time when i check in/out

The time displayed when running this command is incorrect
its 1 hour greater than real time.

I dont know what you mean by recognize daylight saving time.
I downloaded the latest timezone support as described in this post

It didnt do any change.
our timezone is GMT +2 which should be the same as Jerusalem.
any other suggestions?

All the users have the one hour gap problem.
All users use Asia/Jerusalem Time Zone.
Using MySql.

I checked using the command you suggested
all the engine fields are myISAM.
I guess I should change that to innoDB.

Hi, I have a weird problem with any report that is calculated according to pay period. When I choose to make a report for, let's say, 1.1.07-1.1.07 period, I get in the reports all the punched there were even before 1.1.07. Reports as of 1.2.07 seems to be fine. OK it worked. Thanks! Something got really screwed though with the pay periods. when u make a report it calculated the time in correctly. for example if i make a report for january, in the otals i also see december. february looks ok though. After upgrading to version 1.4.3 from 1.3.1 according to the instructions on the readme file no one can login. they all get password error. including the admin.

I have access to the db using a sql enterprise manager look-a-like
Please help me as soon as possible!
